Done!! Sorry guys, but I needs me a guitar with a reverse headstock. That’s a nice blueberry flamed maple finish. That’s probably single ply binding around the body. I’m liking the fact that they match the headstock with the body. Leo James have been putting out some nice stuff lately. Everyone should be changing their strings on a new guitar because they not only stay in tune better, but they sound a lot brighter too!! A lot of bang for the buck, and especially with all of the spec’s this guitar offers.! I wouldn’t change anything about the guitar except the strings lol!! DONE! That is a pretty sweet looking guitar! Leo Jaymz has come a long way! The HS looks gnarly and the finish is real perdy! Rock that thing, Rob! Get in on this guys/gals! Winning makes you feel... like a winner! Do yourself a big favor and avoid using balling wire as strings. Get some D'adario or some Ernie Ball!
Done! ✅ I keep seeing these Leo Jaymz guitars. They look pretty darn awesome to me! This model looks well done. FYI, stainless frets are meaningless to me because there are different grades of stainless steel - some high quality nickel frets might be more durable than low quality stainless steel. I always wish guitar brands (regardless of price point) would say where they have sourced their stainless frets and the grade of quality they are. It would improve customer confidence in knowing they aren’t getting junky stainless steel that may result in a re-fret in a few years. I’ve heard people say they got high end guitars from large companies and boutique builders that had low quality stainless frets. So yeah, just educating people that not all stainless steel is created equal (just like not all “carbon fiber” guitars are created equal). Be sure to do your homework if you’re interested in knowing that you’re getting durable frets that’ll last for many years to come. To be clear, I have no clue which brands tend to use great stuff vs crap, but most people hear the word stainless and they think they’ll automatically have frets for life. Make sure to do your homework regardless of price point! P.S. You guys accidentally spelled the brand wrong in a few places. It’s Leo Jaymz, but you reversed some of the letters. I too often wonder where these SS frets are sourced at on the entry level guitars. Most all custom type guitars from Luthiers, list the brand of the frets. Kinda makes you wonder about the entry level stuff. All in all, I would much rather have SS frets, if they are real, because I have had to have guitar frets replaced before, but I am sure you are correct, there are a lot of different levels of SS frets. 😀
