You should totally check out the lunar new year traditions next year! February is the most festive month in my culture, because lunar new year typically falls in that month, and celebrations/rituals can last for up to 3 weeks.
I have been wanting those penguin pictures for my bathroom for the last year! I'll be moving in a few months so I think I will finally get them for the new place's bathroom 😍
February is just awful to me. Every year is such a struggle. The Romans didn’t even initially have months for January and February they hated that time of year so much. I think March should be New Years.
@@PassiveAgressive319 in what way? :D new years has nothing to do with the name of the month, and i think march would be more lovely bc the weather is nicer
the only difference between jan and feb is how you have been conditioned to think of them by society. a day is just a day and its up to you what you do with it
February is always an iffy month. It's not spring time but the fun and novelty of Xmas & New Year has worn off. People are falling off the wagon with their resolutions and embittered singletons creep out the woodwork to scorn at anyone celebrating valentine's day.
single people are far from bitter -studies show single childless women are the happiest and healthiest demographic. life is what you make it, febuary is a month like any other, its society that has conditioned you to think of the months in this way
Totally agree about the energy and February. February is my least favorite month. It is followed close by March because I always think March will be nicer weather
I live in Florida so February is my favorite month... Its lovely, sunny, cool weather and very few tourists. 😂 I abhor January though. Its gross and cold.
I'd say Extra Grack stuff, just vlogs and you pottering around are my absolute favourites to watch! But i can understand the struggle of balancing and if that has to take a step back that's okay!
I love gifts, both giving and receiving. The great tragedy of it is that I only have one friend who likes to exchange gifts. My mother passed away last year and she didn’t want to celebrate Christmas at all in her last few years, and made it clear many years ago that gifts were not her thing. I feel like there’s a Christmas monster inside me that’s never going to have a chance to get loose again 😂
You could buy lots of nice goodies for the animals at a farm sanctuary or at the shelter - they always need and appreciate toys, treats, food, bedding, etc.! You get to buy nice pressies for those who really need them, and it makes you feel good :)
Or the things that make you feel the most love out of everything - a bath being drawn for you, going out for a meal with them, receiving something 'because they thought of you', a sweet cuddle on the couch, being told 'I love you' or 'you make me feel x' 'you are so x'....
My love languages ( how I show affection) are gifts, words of affirmation ( I love to write encouraging/positive notes to friends and family) plus touch. I like to receive words of affirmation and physical touch. I love to get themed presents for my nieces/nephews/children I have nannied using a favourite colour, animal, fandom. Something to read is essential, as is something to use/do ( colouring book and pens, a Lego set, a puzzle…).
Wow, it's interesting how different people are. I detest physical touch, but I love words of affirmation, quality time, acts of service then gifts in that order. I wonder if the order of our love languages is related to what we lacked growing up. How I show affection is somewhat similar, but it depends mostly on who it is. My brothers for example hate gifts, don't care much for quality time and words of affirmation but they like hugs. My sister loves gifts and physical touch, but doesn't care mich for quality time. My Dad likes quality time but hates gifts and physical touch, even a plain ol' handshake, just like me. My mother is high on acts of service and quality time, but not much for words of affirmation. I show affection to each according to their own languages, not necessarily using my own.
@@Gwaycee I didn’t grow up lacking anything, but have always enjoyed putting presents together since I can remember and have had the funds to do so. Maybe I just enjoy shopping and if I am buying for someone else, I don’t have to feel guilty about having spent money!
I think it would be less about what we lacked and more about what we did receive - in our childhood homes, where we felt safe and loved (if we were privileged enough to do so), something that happened was xyz. But I think people's differences are so interesting! The difference between my fiance and I, for example. I am very very very good at Acts of Service, but that does not rank in his top love languages. He loves Physical Touch, but I need more than that to feel the love from him. So it's about balancing what you need or can give with what they need from you. And understanding that makes it so much less "why don't they love me" and way more "I know I've neglected their love language recently, I need to make sure I'm giving them what they need".
Wait, is it uncommon to do makeup in the bathroom? I mean I basically never wear makeup, but my sister and I always did it in the bathroom. Also, it's way easier to clean because the bathroom is mostly hard surfaces, and lots of makeup is powdery.
I hate the lighting in my bathroom. It's so yellow and makes my makeup look gross! Btw idk if you’re into nyc vlogs but if so, you might like mine! I’d be sooo grateful if you swung by and took a peek. 🙏 Stick around if you like!
Trainers are actually not meant to last more than a year. That’s if you wear them daily. They start to become bad for your feet and back and should be replaced.
Atp she just needs to give us recipe videos. The Romans didn’t even initially have months for January and February they hated that time of year so much.
I’m just an anxious person but I’m always afraid of edible flowers/kits. What if a seed gets carried over by the wind, bird or squirrel and plants itself amongst the edible flowers 😮
All of the most tragic, traumatizing and unhealthy events of my life have occurred in February so every year I basically hold my breath and shut my eyes until it's over...
Late April for me! It's a fine line between "should I schedule something fun for then to break the cycle, or will that cause the fun thing to irreversibly go wrong..."
I wish I was your friend Grace, you’re such a lovely and thoughtful person to everyone in your life!

This February has had such a weird energy, so true 🙃
I love February, spring bulbs and lighter nights and spring on the way and it's a super short month!
Matcha recommendation: Nekohama Matcha , soooo good, organic and not bitter. They have cute starter kits and also make matcha chocolate!
Grack you are such a mood!
Lets make your kitchen a little cosier😊 how about warmer lighting? Maybe a makeover for the cupboards? New tiles? Could be a fun Video
I have been wanting those penguin pictures for my bathroom for the last year! I'll be moving in a few months so I think I will finally get them for the new place's bathroom 😍
House looks great
Galentines gift are amazing
Grow box has got me intrigued..?! X

THIS 100%!
Amen!!
But then wouldn’t March be the new January? 😬 honestly not trying to hate….

Walking is grounding, that's why it makes you feel better 😊
Those birds were really poppin off during your walk 🫶

What is the name of the blue paint in your WC, Grace? It's heaven!
Hey grace, missed you so much❤

You should adopt a senior or two in a nursing home..there are alot of residents who have no family and do not get any gifts or any visitors.
That blue paint in the bathroom is beautiful!
Your love language is the way you show your love for others to them. ie cooking them a cake or nice meal. Giving them a gift.
Or the things that make you feel the most love out of everything - a bath being drawn for you, going out for a meal with them, receiving something 'because they thought of you', a sweet cuddle on the couch, being told 'I love you' or 'you make me feel x' 'you are so x'....
:) February is my favorite, birthday month🙂
Why do I feel like the bed is so small for two people 🙃

🎶January. Sick and tired you've been hanging on me. You make me sad with your eyes. You're Telling Me Lies🎶 A good old song to listen to.
Where are the links 😢
Wow I think this maybe the first Iv ever heard anybody actually say February as it’s spelt so sounds funny lol
