i don't know if you've played through dead space remake yet fully since i normally don't catch the streams but something i suggest is that you change your controls and change the quick heal to q instead of f, i mainly say that since it was q in all of the dead space games and i think q is a harder key to accidentally hit without meaning to then f, which is the same key as kinesis, a tool you use a lot.
It's so weird how this game was the best thing EA put out this year. Everything after this was so mediocre, which makes me think Motive barricaded themselves in their offices to stop EA suits from fucking things up
13:35 vinny does a good impression of the actor Laurence Fishburne from the 1997 Horror/Sci-fi movie "Event Horizon". A horror classic, the Event Horizon, a spacecraft that vanished years earlier, suddenly reappears, a team is dispatched to investigate the ship. Accompanied by the Event Horizon's creator, William Weir (Sam Neill), the crew of the Lewis and Clark, led by Capt. Miller (Laurence Fishburne), begins to explore the seemingly abandoned vessel. However, it soon becomes evident that something sinister resides in its corridors, and that the horrors that befell the Event Horizon's previous journey are still present. In summary Vinny's impression is pretty good.

34:56 Vinny, if it's your favorite solely due to "nostalgia", then is it really your favorite? Nostalgia is a complex thing. Hell, I have nostalgia for Rugrats in Paris for the N64. I don't even like the game and I have nostalgia for it. I'm aware of how not great it is-- not that I'm saying it sucks to be clear, but nostalgia and your view on the thing it's attached to can be very separate. _"Man, what an awful game that was, but I have nostalgia for it there for it's my favorite",_ doesn't make much sense, does it? Having any nostalgia whatsoever doesn't mean that you are incapable of viewing it objectively, even just a little. Plus, maybe it's just me, but If I were to, say, play Rugrats in Paris (as I brought up earlier), then my nostalgia for it would start to disappear. Not that it would entirely go away. But as it is all of my memories that are tied to it are from many years ago. So by playing it today I'd be adding in new, fresh memories and the weight of the nostalgia becomes very small. That's why I was surprised that Vin says that he's still so overwhelmingly nostalgic about games like Chrono Trigger. I still remember getting the first Ratchet and Clank as a kid. I remember sitting in front of our parent's CRT with one of those tiny ice cream cups-- and this is after we already got the sequel some time before, so I was pretty excited. I have nostalgia in some way for Ratchet and Clank, clearly. You'd think it would be a lot, but I play those games maybe once every year to two years. Not that different than how Vinny plays Chrono Trigger, yet I feel very little nostalgia on my end. Again, I still have nostalgia for the games, but not so much where if someone points out a flaw I'm like, "nah, don't see it" and I do put the games very highly on my list, but I have actual reasons for it that aren't simply "nostalgia". Personally I don't want to erase my nostalgia for things, but I'm also not beholden to it.
Yeah dude this game is awesome. I like the technical side of re4s combat and knife stuff so probably say I rate it higher but for sure this is almost game of the year for me. Hard to go up against re4.
I really recommend you saving on multiple save files @Vinesauce, there are some sketchy bugs in the game wich requires a battery, sometimes they appear, sometimes they don't
They did a poll after this game released asking if people wanted a DS2 remake and of course got overwhelming yeses so 99% chance they’ll do it and hopefully to this quality if not better
Oh no, Binty playing the PC version? Hope he won't have really bad stutters on his system... PS5 version would have been safer for streaming. (I loved the PC version, but I can't deny that it had stuttering, its biggest issue--hasn't seemed too bad though looking at this, apart from intro & when he turned DLSS on/off, not much stuttering, so far)
The stomping grunts are also the new voice actor. They may have used some of the same grunts from dead space 2 though. But they definitely recorded new sound effects for the grunting and breathing and things like that
Honestly most of the changes remind me of those "sensitivity reader" versions of old kids books. None of them are major but they are head-scratching. Like who was the mf in the dev team going "This propaganda poster offends me, we need to make the guy black and the girl flat-chested >:("

Make us whole, splinty.
This remake deserves more attention!
Surprised Vinny hasn't given System Shock Remake a play. I hope he does. It's kinda the original Dead Space in its own way.
didn't he play the demo a long time ago? I was expecting him to play it too but he hasn't even mentioned its release
@@measured.kadence I hadn't heard anything about it. It seems like a game he'd like if he likes Dead Space
@@Viper-ft3tk Only problem with Vinny giving System Shock Remake a shot is that he would be terribly lost and confused 99% of the time and he would probably stop having fun after a while. That game expects you to read, pay attention, and remember many things at once for very long periods as the game won't really actively remind the player of stuff, so I really don't see him having much fun with it unless if he just lays down some special chat rules or something about backseating.

The entire game is about getting lost unless you play on the difficulty that allows waypoints.
Not the best game to stream unless you've got time and patience for it.
@@Viper-ft3tk I think mission waypoints aren't even in the game yet, like there's a "teaser" patchnotes on kickstarter, but it hasn't actually even been patched yet, so Vinny couldn't even benefit from those at this time.
10mins in Vinny already forgets the main mechanic of the game, to be ABLE TO ROTATE THE GUN -__-
as a dead space enjoyer and lover this makes my funny bone tingle
Watching a Vinny stream is kinda like chilling on the couch with your bro and watching him play a game. I mean I know that’s what streaming should feel like, but idk his streams just feel more casual and natural. Not like someone trying to put on a show. Thanks for keeping it real
sick baby flips bro
i don't know if you've played through dead space remake yet fully since i normally don't catch the streams but something i suggest is that you change your controls and change the quick heal to q instead of f, i mainly say that since it was q in all of the dead space games and i think q is a harder key to accidentally hit without meaning to then f, which is the same key as kinesis, a tool you use a lot.
It's so weird how this game was the best thing EA put out this year. Everything after this was so mediocre, which makes me think Motive barricaded themselves in their offices to stop EA suits from fucking things up
Jedi Survivor isnt mediocre. Its great. Its just bogged down by tech issues. The improvements from Fallen Order are very noticeable
Been waiting for this series. Hope Vinny enjoys it like I did
I'm spooped already! 😱
Ironically i also waited til october to start playing dead space remake. I got the game back in like june on one of gameflys discount days along with re4 remake
I've been waiting for this. LETS GO
Vinny and chat: when it comes to games and media, do you think once you've been spooked you can really be spooked again?
Isaac looking like Winston McCall from Parkway Drive lol

strange, didnt get any notice about this clip on the usual place. YT is broken and its broken from the inside.
Enjoy the stutters
I love dead space!
I have been *eagerly* awaiting this!
Damn it vinny I wanted to play this game while you were playing it... but that was like two weeks ago...SUCH A LUST FOR REVENGE!? WHOOOooo!
I wish Vinny would play Silent Hill 4. He would love it
1:55:35 - classy vinny
I hope bvinny doesnt miss the pool noodle at the end of the game
It’s spoooooooky season! Let’s do it!!!
ABOUT DAMN TIME!
1:46:04 oh bvinny
Love your content and as an avid fan I can't help but to wonder, are you ever going to put in the few hours as a professional to understand how graphics settings work and apply to your setup?
I always find it ironic and sad how this and calisto kind of out near each other and Callisto supposed to the new alternative of this genre but this endup better well received
Aim for the torso Issac.
lol most of the world isnt effected by Unity, and its so commonly used, this little thing will just be a thing of the past in a month lol, The way Vinny thinks that "everybody" all the time is always been funny to me.

Vinny, if it's your favorite solely due to "nostalgia", then is it really your favorite?
Vinny sounds like he hit puberty in this playthrough.
10:28
I really recommend you saving on multiple save files @Vinesauce, there are some sketchy bugs in the game wich requires a battery, sometimes they appear, sometimes they don't
JUMPSCARE WARNING: 10:29
Imo, I enjoyed this remake better than RE4's. I really do hope we get a DS2 remake with the multiplayer included. Now THAT would be podracing.
They did a poll after this game released asking if people wanted a DS2 remake and of course got overwhelming yeses so 99% chance they’ll do it and hopefully to this quality if not better
37:50 Vinny invents I Wish by SKee Lo
“Quick! How do you say ‘fart’ in Japanese?” 10:29
But vinny, you already streamed this game in 2017 ;)
34:45 it's really good on PC. It would be better if it was harder
Goddamn it Vinny now I gotta watch Event Horizon for the 3rd time.
Isaac's voice and his stomping grunts were clearly recorded in two different decades and it's messing me up.
The stomping grunts are also the new voice actor. They may have used some of the same grunts from dead space 2 though. But they definitely recorded new sound effects for the grunting and breathing and things like that
Huh, I wonder why they sound so different from dialogue then if that's true. @@GavinAeilts
Has Binny played any of the Dead Space games before? He's in for a treat.

I dread the restroom part already.
Knowing Vinny he'll gloss over it and chat will be hung up on it for two minutes before getting distracted by something else.
Simple as.
@@Viper-ft3tkSounds about right.
Personally I think we should take the "Its always sunny" route and label all restrooms as "Animal Sh*thouse"
Honestly most of the changes remind me of those "sensitivity reader" versions of old kids books. None of them are major but they are head-scratching. Like who was the mf in the dev team going "This propaganda poster offends me, we need to make the guy black and the girl flat-chested >:("
Gotta support the current thing!
I gave it under 5 minutes someone would complain about motion blur after film grain was turned off, literally took 30 seconds, we're not OK Vinny! 🤣😅😭

It'd be really cool if Vinny did a 3rd part for B3313
