Thank you very much! I'm just starting on my '67 GT. I've been putting it off way too long, but your video gave me the confidence to give it a go. Now I'm off to Harbor Freight to get an engine lift and balance adjuster. As far as I can see, you are the only one on youtube with a "pull your engine from a GT" video. Next time I'm in the UK, I'll stop by and buy you a pint or two.

Thank you sir! Pulling my engine and gear box tomorrow, and I got some very good information from your video. I feel better prepared. I owe you a pint. :-)

The universal truth of removing things from old vehicles; whatever you want to remove, there's something else in the way.

What about the Prop shaft? Doesn’t that need disconnecting?

Are those bolts on the rocker cover brackets threaded into the cylinder head, or is it only the rocker cover taking the engine weight ? Cheers

Yup these do go into the head and this is the factory lift point too. I have seen the head bolt left rear and front alternator bolt hole used for the lift especially if you are doing a complete engine break down and rebuild and don't have some of the neat toys to use.

Used them before, seems scary, but it’s totally ok.

I wouldn't lift it on the rocker cover bolts
