I agree with you that the "darker" tobacco is much nicer than the lighter (almost blonde) tobacco. I realized they can't guarantee what I want because tobacco leather has such a wide variance. I think I will play it safer and order my Saddleback in either "Chestnut" or "Dark Coffee", I'm not sure which yet, but I'm sad I can't 100% get a case like yours is. It's amazing if you got the 15% off due to the color. You hit the jackpot because your case here is perfect. The fact you saved a few bucks...is icing on the cake.
