I always admired Gorilla Silverbacks because despite the amazing strength, they can be so gentle and sweet.They avoid fights and disharmony and just want peace for themselves & their family. They are gentle, patient and fascinating souls who share our emotions.
Baby Jabali admires his Daddy and loves his attention and affection. It's almost as if Jabali looks at Daddy and thinks.. "Daddy, you are so big and strong. I am so tiny. But, I'm gonna be big and strong like you, Right Daddy? Right? Awwww, Daddy, I just love you so much!" ;-)

You need to see Shabani with his son Kiyomasa. His son is nearly the same size as his dad but Shabani is getting him ready for adulthood. They play lovely ❤️🇬🇧
There is another family in the Kioto Zoo, where the family seems to give the father a wide berth. He has a quick temper, but does play with the baby once in awhile. I think their habitat is too small and un-natural and causes some anxiety and friction, especially now that the older son is nearing maturity and is a bit threatening of the father's territory.
@@coinkydink3984 I watch a few channels with Gorillas, my favourite beast, and a lot of them look hemmed in and bored. They do need bigger environments for them to live better. Only my opinion I am no specialist ❤️🇬🇧

I cannot but feel sorry for such a great intelligent animal clearly being so bored in such an enclosure. It is so sad. The baby is cute, the adult is impressive, but I could be very satisfied with films of them in the wild, or even pictures. Zoo's are wrong. But until we figure out something else, I guess this is the best humans can come up with today.

Gorilla are naturally very gentle creatures, but like anything else, when frightened or angry they can be dangerous, just because of their strength.
