- Here is your inside LQQK at Senior Elite First Practice (Well not technically, but first I have filmed)
You can see raw footage uncut! You will see some falls, so go easy on them as a lot these stunts and even groups are new. But they will get it! Courtney Smith Pope and her staff will get this team competition ready in a few short months! Stay Tuned!

So weird to see SE without the seniors/super seniors but especially Abby, Ryan, & McKenna since they’ve been on the team for so long. & to see only one of the Rymill sisters 😢 Anna might be gone, but Allison is still serving! 😌

Brooklynn’s needle is everything! Also, even though this is just the first practice of the new season….the girls are getting more and more amazing, of course there’s gonna few a few bobs, and falls but that’s okay, that happens with every team. Hopefully this year we can finally have some new, clean, and creative stunts to truly showcase their talent, shut their haters down, and of course to win. Wishing them the best of luck this season.

@@silvercloud1527 Yes, Kenley did that exact same opening to that stunt during 2019. This time it's added on with a new element. (Making it more difficult). If they all do that in one of the Elite Stunts, that would be gorgeous and it will add up their difficulty during competition season.
@@cpa7746 But then that's going back to the "same skills every year", a thing that people don't like about Senior elite.
@@hannahwalmer1124 Not at all. The difference as I stated previously, is that the skill was added onto a variation of elements. Which ups their difficulty a lot. They can do something very creative with that kind of skill just by the way it represents an X. It fits with "Teal X".
@@cpa7746 When we say "doing the same skills every year" we don't mean it *that* literally. We mean in it exactly the sense you're talking about. Doing what they did previously, one with an added twist, or a handspring before it or a different dismount. That's boring and won't win.
Honestly it's pretty sad seeing how much creativity and skill these athletes can come up with just as an individual stunt group, and never seeing them get the chance to put that on the mat. Pick a stunt sequence NOW that they can keep repping over and over. It's frustrating at this point seeing the same stunts that, although show skill, just isn't going to win a globe with the creativity coming from the other teams. If you only allow them to rep the same stunt we've seen for the past 3 years this early in the season, it'll be too late to add later when you realize the team needs something to raise the raw score. I love SE but if it's the same routine again ... these girls deserve more.
Exactly. No more "playing it safe". That doesn't work anymore.
Notice also how the basket sequence is the exact same as previous years as well. Def need something different if they truly want to win the globe.
Thank you for showing their falls. It shows cheerleaders out there that even the best of the best fall and that practice makes perfect. Each season brings new stunt groups too which changes the dynamics of how the group works. Great job girls. Can’t wait to see how much you progress over these next several months!

saw a couple bases just completely moving out of the way when the flyer falls and flyers hitting the ground more than once idc if it’s the first practice but sorry that shouldn’t happen

I saw that too, but as a cheerleader the flyer had already fallen so they just let them gently down on the floor. Like if they were in serious danger they catch them. You aren’t the coach of SE one of the best teams in the country you don’t need to act like you know better

The amount of skills and talent these girls have is insane!! It’s such a shame we never see any of this on the mat because the coaches use the same stunts and sequences every year :( pleaseeeee let these girls compete with these stunts they’re so talented!!

I have a question: Is is normal that the athletes wear jewelry, watches, accessories during practice? In Europe I have never seen this in a gym. For safety reasons all accessories have to be taken off. Or is this just the case at this gym?

The new flyers, Kendall, Khloe, and Katie are really good! With them, Kenley, Maddie, Ally, Raegan, Ruby, Brooklynn, and McKenna that’s 10 flyers so idk who won’t be on mat… Kendall’s baskets are so pretty
Some of the flyers are on more than 1 worlds team so most likely one of them will do their other worlds team or they will swap around like Ryan did

so many people hate on kenley for always being center but she is one of the sturdiest and most reliable of all the stunt groups to hit every time. She's earned that spot
no she really didn’t. ryan was 10x better but since her mom owns it, she gets handed center
@@chynalaamaj But ryan wasn't as consistent as kenley was. Ryan fell/bobbled several times during her years on se, however kenley has only fell once.
@@gracethompson7607 that’s her bases fault. while kenley is typically lighter as well. Besides that ryan skills are 10x better and look cleaner.
@@chynalaamaj this past season Ryan and Kenley had the exact same bases. Ryan fell at showcase and once during another comp. kenley never fell.
