Honda launched it due to low sales of X Blade and Hornet 160. I'm a X Blade BS 4 owner. My bike ran over 1,20,000 KM and still can ran over 120 KM/HR. Milage is around 45 KM / LTR. With my bike obtained top speed of 132 KM/HR in 5th gear and 108 KM/HR in 3rd gear.
It's not for top end n racing purpose...I think its best bike for daily commuting and weekend rides pocket ka chota rocket best work by Honda. As of technical aspect okay but front tyre n suspension needed to update.

I don't understand what happened to Honda !! In the 150 to 160 segment lots of competition.... Then why did they not invest money in research and development.
#Honda needs to update the front tyre to at least 100/80 , bigger and more easily visible meter console , dual channel abs , better headlight for this #SP160 and that too within a reasonable price limit. I think most Honda fans would agree that these should have been bare minimum for this model.

Sab underestimate karta hai bike dekhne par lekin ye N150, Fzs v4,Gixxer 155 ko aramse todta hai 0 to 100kmph mein. Iska dual disc variant 141kg hai aur 15sec leta hai 0 to 100kmph pohochne ko. Fir bhi acha hi hai . Bhailog Hornet 160r bhi 141kg tha aur power jyada nikalta tha lekin uska gearing bohot tall tha isiliye uska acceleration timings isse thoda slow ata tha . Relax highway cruising acha tha iss reason se hi. Anyway Honda engineering ko main salute karta hai , bikes ka weight bhi badne nahi diya hai emission norms aane ke bavjud. Isiliye bike slow feel nahi hota aur torque 14.5nm rakha hai jaanbhuj kar iss reason keliye taaki bike slow na feel ho.
Bhai top speed test ke saath ek cruising speed test bhi kiya karo 5k RPM par. Indian roads par koi bhi apni bike ko har time top speed par nahi rakh sakta aur na rakhna chahta hai. Cruising speed par hi chalte hain sab, jisme bike m koi vibration feel nahi hoti aur na engine par stress padta hai.

Honda itself have updated Unicorn a decade ago the chassis and tuned engine with DAZZLER, TRIGGER which are far better in center of gravity, chassis, seat height, weight distribution and leave about power and torque. Honda literally failed to tell that to its customers and their marketing/sales team are least interested as i have seen to sell 150cc and above bikes. They are most interested to sell Activa as i have witnessed when i wanted to take test drive of Hornet 160 and later X-Blade 160. The end result is that the good bikes even get discontinued. And now even this SP160 cant compete with Unicorn with its half baked design in my opinion. They are projecting it as commuter, then why half chain cover?? Honda and Bajaj are two companies which releases several bikes and throw them to their customers who ultimately become Guinea pigs 😅😅😅
I have Purchased Pearl Ignious Black colour Sp 160 (Dual Disc) . Engine & Suspension is smooth , Daily I Ride this motorcycle Between 50 to 60 kmph Speed. I am getting 43 kmpl Mileage, But I don't like its kick start system because When i start with kick i need to make side the Rider foot rest and then i have to kick start. And It's headlight is not Good very low Quality not visible properly while riding night Some times i feel this motorcycle is Overpriced because Rear wheel ABS system missing.
I am riding cbf150 for 10 years it is like a rock ... But getting old Honda Turkey will bring this SP 125 but I am not sure about SP160 this one could be nice after cbf 150 ... Cbf150 almost 20 years old technology new bikes will be fuel efficient but top speed seems slow I saw 130 km on cbf150 ... BEst wishes ❤

According to your video I've counted 0-100 & 60 time on my stopwatch and in 2:15 0-100 was in 16.24 sec instead of 14 sec & in 2:04 0-60 was in 5.11 sec instead of 4.4 sec so you've shown wrong info which is 0-100 in 14 sec & 0-60 in 4.4 sec Edit - now I've made things simple to understand!!

Honda Unicorn looks much better than this Sp160. Unicorn has timeless design like Pulsar 150. It will not outdate. Understand.
