Everyone on the radio was professional and handled themselves accordingly considering for them they were communicating in English which was not their first language yet the communication was clear and all parties were understood. Well done by the pilots, ATC and the tower.
Very well handled. A few months back an aircraft made an emergency landing in Poland because of a bomb threat and they were ordered a painfully long taxi route, took forever to get everyone off that plane. Good to see it wasn't the case here
Would like to use this video for another youtube video that I will be making. Obviously will give you full credit on this one. I'd normally email this request to you but I couldn't find it on your profile. Thank you.
I’m an amateur radio operator and whenever I am on the radio and changing frequencies, I always report the decimal like the Bucharest approach did. (1 1 8 decimal 8 0 5) I know air comms are probably standardized to ignore the decimal, but I would probably prefer including the decimal just because it makes communication clearer to me.
TWR copied the amount of fuel incorrect, 260 instead of the 8260 reported by the pilot. Pilot should have noticed this, and have corrected the TWR. But in the end, this was no issue. 5h30 delay just for a fake bomb thread. But better be safe than sorry. Well done all.
The American one was just a nutter missing his flight and getting mad, calling there was a bomb on board his missed flight, but if you follow world politics you get a better view of all this.
@@shuttleman27c Russia tried to stop Sweden from entering the Navo by involving Turkey. Turkey now allowed Sweden to enter to pull Putin deeper into problems fighting Ukraine. Russia is so mad that Turkish and involved countries have bomb alarms on board. All false alarms, but a nuisance to European airspace.

Tower:"Any dangerous goods on board?"
Pilot:"Only a bomb"

Just another day at the office for these pilots. Balls of steel.
Thinking the same. No dangerous goods on board but maybe a bomb. When this flight is on the ground I will have change clothes and clean cockpit.
👍
Got to think that as long as they are alive the bomb hasnt gone off.

Pilots never panic. They know they are in charge and should they panic, that could be the end of them. So panic is never an option.

They are standardized to include the decimal, but a lot of controllers and pilots omit it.
yep-including the . allows the pilot to use the correct frequency when transfer to Tower/Ground or Ops (after landing)
Isnt the possible bomb on board a dangerous good?
More like a dangerous evil I'd say 😅
Luckily there wasn't one.
it was only a reported threat, but nothing was found? that seems very fishy
1:53 I thought he said "request further descent due to weather".

Why all the bomb threats suddenly?

...so no Emergency was declared ?
I don't know. Probably they declared but some parts of audio are unavailable.
I remember, that's what you had said when ground changed frequency over to 134.380
The accents ... sounds like from some kind of international suspense thriller. 😎
👍
How is your accent? You sound hilarious maybe?
@@malahammer If she lives anywhere close to me, her accent matches John Wayne's from an old western movie. 😊
