I am in need of the retainer clips that hold the bushing down. Do you have any suggestions as to what I can use since they are no longer available from Honda?
No worries, You can always drill a very small hole and use a flat head set screw. Won’t be visible because the shock boot will cover that portion of the fork assembly. Just need to make sure it’s the right length and not to long, otherwise any auto parts store will have an assortment of internal snap rings. 👍
@@newfoundlandtv9121 Thank you for this video and ordered those parts. I almost won a bid on a 200m front end on ebay but was outbid. Hopefully my shocks are salvageable but seem very wallowed out at the top., I feel like mine is costing more then the trike is worth to fix. Frame needs to be patched too the frame and the rear brake was ripped off and didn't even catch it when i got the trike. Still need tires and wheel bearings as mine are dry rotted and only hold air a couple days.
Awesome video brother!! Fantastic fix! Great tips!
Thanks 👍
There are actually hondalime front racks for the 200m. It was a dealer option. Some are still out there. I sold one not too long ago.
Killer repair. Going to be doing mine shortly and will be trying this hack. Thanks for this video
Brilliant…such a simple fix for a major Honda design flaw. Thank you! 👏👏👏 New subscriber👍
Thanks for the sub!
Can you share the link to those sleeves you found

I'm a NEWBIE with these models ATC's ,,Does it take fluid of some type of grease in the cylinders
High quality wheel bearing grease or hard grease would suffice.
