this is amazing and incredibly inspirational...thank you so much... i noticed you switched from canon 5d iv to r coincidently i was looking for tutorials to explain the difference as i’m torn between the two now i think it’s clear i’ll buy the R :) thank you Lindsay you’re the best
Hi just 1 key question when you use the soft box on location do you still still feather the soft box on the model or it is direct. In studio we see that you feather the soft box but outside on location?
Once you've booked the model, the hairdresser, the make-up artist, how do you book the sun? Or do you always have a plan B, for lighting, when shooting outside? Regards ;-)
Not really, especially if you've never used one. They are very well made and not made from cheap materials. If you have the time or want to make your own I'm sure you can do it for less, like anything else. These fold, are prebuilt and high quality. Depends on what you want to do, diy or buy!
ah yes. Those shipping costs will kill ya. I think it would be difficult to replicate their exact design and quality, even though it seems rather simplistic. A lot of engineering and trial and error went into their design. If you save yourself hundreds by making it then totally do that. :)
Terrific, easy to follow tips for on location with the very portable and foldable V-Flat
Glad you enjoyed it! :)
Love this. I’m going to try it
👏👏
Depending on where you are, you may need some sand bags.
Another great video. Thanks.

Great work Lindsay. The model is also outstanding. The v-flat price for what it is, is much less
I’d love to recreate this.
I’m a starting photographer and I absolutely love your work.
You are just amazing!
Gorgeous! I love the simplicity and the striking results with so little. While I love all of your videos, this is one of my favorites.

Simply awesome !! that's inspiration for me like a portrait photographer. Thanks so much for share and congratulations for your work !!
quem vê vc fazer essa magia acaba achando que é tão fácil... Amo o seu trabalho. Saúde e felicidade sempre.
Brilliant :)
This was great! What would help would be to see either the straight out of camera image or know your settings for the images.
this is amazing and incredibly inspirational...thank you so much... i noticed you switched from canon 5d iv to r coincidently i was looking for tutorials to explain the difference as i’m torn between the two now i think it’s clear i’ll buy the R :) thank you Lindsay you’re the best
R5, not R! She had an R but never used it much, at least for serious work! The R5's eye autofocus is massively improved!
longliveclassicmusic in this one she’ wrote in the description R but i noticed the r5 in her recent videos...so what’s your opinion R or D5 iv
@@longliveclassicmusic R5 for the win. I actually did use the EOS R a lot-- any time I was outside for sure.
Love this...:)
Gracias
Wow.
Dear, ARE YOU USING only tape to create the hinges on your V-flats? What kind of tape?
Many Thanks!
its a V-flat world v-flat-- they make them (link in caption).
👏👏👏
Do you have any idea where I can find this hat on line, I search.......but none of this pattern brand of this department store Thanks
Hi just 1 key question when you use the soft box on location do you still still feather the soft box on the model or it is direct. In studio we see that you feather the soft box but outside on location?
It really depends. The conditions are different on location so you have to adapt.
When you say direct sunlight, do you mean mid-day or just any time when the sun is out and hitting your subject directly?
Depends on how strong you want the light. I usually do mid-day but also depends on if I want softer light.
Yaaaaassssssss!!!
❤

I look at the weather lol.
What time of day was this shoot because it looks like it was in the middle of the day.
@@m.d7940 It was high noon/middle of the day.
What camera are you shooting with
Mentioned in the description. :)
@@lindsayadlerphoto you took the time to tell me that you could have just told me 🤣🤣🤣 thanks anyway
@@lindsayadlerphoto ok
Love your vids
hello Lindsay from Germany, I don't find your "creative natural light guide" on your website. please can you send me a link? thank you very much.
Hi there! You can find that here: lindsayadler.photo/natural-light-guide. :)
@@lindsayadlerphoto Tank you very much Lindsay 👍
Time to shoot outside! Thank you Lindsay! :) @dannydiazphoto
They are insanely overpriced, unfortunately.
Not really, especially if you've never used one. They are very well made and not made from cheap materials. If you have the time or want to make your own I'm sure you can do it for less, like anything else. These fold, are prebuilt and high quality. Depends on what you want to do, diy or buy!
@@lindsayadlerphoto To get these shipped to Germany would cost around $500. I like the concept, but will probably DYI ;)
ah yes. Those shipping costs will kill ya. I think it would be difficult to replicate their exact design and quality, even though it seems rather simplistic. A lot of engineering and trial and error went into their design. If you save yourself hundreds by making it then totally do that. :)
200 usd lol
Worth it for those who can afford it.
