- The 2019 Academy of Medical Sciences & The Lancet International Health Lecture was held on Wednesday 27 November, presented by Professor Patricia J. García.
“Corruption is embedded in health systems. All my life, as a researcher, as a public health worker, and as a Minister of Health, I have been able to see entrenched dishonesty and fraud. But despite being one of the most important barriers to implementing universal health coverage around the world, corruption is rarely openly discussed.
If we are really aiming to achieve the sustainable development goals and ensure healthy lives for all, corruption in global health must no longer be an open secret.”

Professor Patricia J. García is a former Minister of Health of Peru and former Chief of the Peruvian National Institute of Health. She is currently a Professor of the School of Public Health at Cayetano Heredia University in Lima, Peru.

With all happening now with covid this lecture is even more important.
No cares about corruption but it rots everything. This is a much needed presentation by Prof. Garcia.
This bowl effects will be instant it will affect not just men but other beings working with these corrupt humans
W.H.O needs to be demolished and started again with total transparency the sooner the better
Tech companies as well who are partakers the the world media
The answer is simple:
"Corruption has appeared throughout the land and sea by [reason of] what the hands of people have earned so He may let them taste part of [the consequence of] what they have done that perhaps they will return [to righteousness]." - [Quran 30:41]
"And who is more astray than one who follows his desire without guidance from Allah?" - [Quran 28:50]
"This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah" - [Quran 2:2]
*God conciousness is the key to personal accountibility, which is what's needed to eradicate corruption.*
