That ship "variant" is version V3.05 "gold" and has a "Thunderbolt Star" Bow-Mounted High-Energy Weapon System with 53833 dmg/min / 3.888 damage/hit with Prio Battleship/Carrier/BC/Cruiser/Aux - seems a bit more logical than the base variant which is missing Cruisers and Aux in it's list (for some reason) and has Frigatte/Destroyer on top... With 3x5 HP Upgrades and 1xArmore-Upgrade is has 165.568 HP and 150 Armor / 15% Energy Resistance. Overall that version has 91.158 / 5.089 / 8.062 damage/min. Secondary is a Torp-Launcher with ~800 damage per hit 12916/min and a Dual Cannon ~ 250 per hit 17.884/min. Strangly with 105 TP spent, "only" the main weapon, much of armor, one command system and the AMIIS has been maxxed out.
Sadge that's an account wasted, I'd be malding hard if u have good ships and u just stopped playing. But it's totally understandable if ur tired the game at this point, after all the only reason I'm still playing cuz I like the ship designs. :)
Takes over a million metal and more than 14 hours to build one. Does well, if well supported. absolutely needs fighter craft to protect it, and a missile boat to soften up targets. The mods to upgrade the gun, needs 8-10 tech blue prints for each 2% of the upgrade.

Haven't properly trsted its command strategy yet for lack of tech points, but I did upgrade the aircraft military weapon integration system a few times. The railguns hit hard even against cruisers as they are now. Can't rely on her anti aircraft missile array though, so support ships and interceptors would accompany fleets with my Thunderbolt Star and Spear of Uranus. Makes a nice battering ram of sorts, as well as a flanking force. Special ammo though is limited and you have to teturn to base to replenish them.
The AA might be 28 damage but aircraft either have low or no armor. Look back it has 4 cannon with 4x6 attacks per round. This thing is just a bullet hose with all its cannons and with mods it has like 5 different weapon platforms all along the lines of shoot lots of bullet at the enemy until they die. And the sneak peak of the command system against flanks it's a percentage of fleet damage starts at 20% can't see the upgrades. Possibly up to 40% it has 2 more upgrades from base. The way it reads is 100% to the fleet you fight then base at 20% of your overall dpm to all flank fleets. Possibly still not accounting for evasion and hit rate but if 40% is max that is solid doing 100% to the main and 40% to all flank fleets
Oh and side note we go to server in 8 days so we might see you guys. Keep and our out for CitadelSecurity and Omegasecurity. And say hi if you see us. All huge fans
At the time, most ship's AA weapons have pretty bad hit rate, so most of those shots will miss in the first place, and it is preferable that those shots that do land, deal as much dmg as possible, so that's why higher dmg per hit in AA weapons is more convenient, despite that most aircraft got 0 armor (except Vitas B and its 10 armor points, turning any AA weapon in those ranges of dmg pretty much useless). One could say that the last patch buffing AA weapons, some being given higher dmg per shot against aircrafts as a skill, might have fixed this issue a bit.
@@EliiGamer685 I just pulled it so no mods or tp. It will honestly be a while before I end up testing it. St59 with it's speed boost and then spear in general are just too good right to be juggling bcs tp to find out if it works or not now
Cheers for another one! This ship looks and sounds very promising. I also really like the element it taking a 10% Hp damage when it’s weapon systems get destroyed because it makes it realistic. A ship like this carrying a ton of explosive ammo should take some sort of hull breach/damage when those ammo get destroyed. Regardless though, I’m curious to see what it’s hit rate will be like against Carilion Special and how it prioritizes ships 🤔
I got a (TE) one and I honestly think it isn't worth using if you don't have any repair ships or something. It's very expensive to make and it easily gets destroyed if you don't have support ships or repair ships.

look at the armor of the ship, it's only 120, I think this ship is strong in dealing damage, so the armor has been reduced a lot, I think combining with chimera or spear of uranus to make shield in the front row will be better
Hey Damphyre, did you know that you can see the command system upgrades when you click on the icon between "special effect/firepower stats" and "basic stats"? Works even if you don't own the BP.

Mmm, CTG struggles a but vs frig/dessie which is the current meta for the most part, albeit seeing more jaegar and predators which the CTG will do better at.

Did you look at the 3rd version you will be able to pick up from the trading post oh my god it's a f-ing monster main gun becomes an energy weapon 3240 base + 648 upgraded large ships a large torpedo launcher 621 + 186 upgraded 8 attacks per round same active AA but a medium anti ship weapon same times as the other AA but 207 damage + 41 upgraded total anti ship damage is 91158 this is with 3 weapons system changes and 195 tech points
i got it early, so i put it in a fleet with 2 spears and an es to compare dmg output, i have the minecart extra module for the spear and my es is basically stock, this thing does ~60k dmg against lvl8 privateers, the es does ~40k,and the 2 spears are slightly above 80k usually. But sometimes when it gets good or bad rng it can do more dmg than the spears, or less than the es

Wait -- is it possible that "collateral damage" thing is applied to **enemy target ships** and _not_ the Thunderbolt's system? Would kind of make sense because that seems like a really hefty penalty - too hefty in fact to make sense. ...???
One of my Thunderbolts suffered collateral damage when her railguns were shot off by enemy Newland attackers, and the damage it took from that was phenomenal. That would have cost me the ship if only their owner could risk staying longer in a 3v1 duel near our hive.

This ship is a beast, I saw some chineese pictures with it almost maxed out and it looks a decisive weapon.

Apparently, there are three different main weapon systems 1st is the railgun, 2nd is torpedo, and 3rd is energy.

It not only goes to 40% but it's 40% of your fleets output, not the thunderbolt itself

It does about 10-15k DPM against cruiser/BC npc fleets, but double that against lvl4s...
It was the same preview that showed the beefed up CVMO11 and showed you the schematic, what happened to that?

I think the rate of fire is poor, it is more an alpha strike ship, doing 2-3 salvo's per minute at best.

Nah that doesn't make much sense to me. Sounds like a chain of explosions goes through the ship when ammo gets blown up.
