This is an accurate depiction of going into Trials while 5 under max light.
Imagine creating this raid boss of a teammate in PVP somehow
I remember using minimum light gear it Destiny 1 during a Trials match (I think the light level I got to was 5 or something). I think the Khvostov I was using did 1 damage on body, 2 on crit to everyone at max light (400 back then).

Renewal resist is frost armor. The generic resist is not a thing anymore for renewals
@@damsdee2214 they could also mean the reduced enemy damage, which is a form of damage resist technically

So not rounding to 0 damage could be considered the "correct" way.
yeah, that's what the floor function is for, regular rounding shouldn't be rounding to 0 unless you're flooring whatever you're putting in.

Hello! There are no rules to rounding in maths. Only multiple different functions that happen to do what we would call rounding. The floor function, for example, will round 0.3 to 0, and the ceiling function will round 0.3 to 1. "Rounding" is not a rigourous mathematical function.
That being said, it is true that rounding to 0 is a more dangerous type of rounding in programming than say, rounding to 3, because of the specific properties of 0.

Thanks this is great. Some friends and I complete master warlords ruin and were digging deep into damage resistance to survive against Hefnd's crazy void splash damage while capping the totems. This would have been very useful. I want to try again with weavewalk to see what kind of resistance I can stack. Well done guys.
Good stuff, if you or your friends use Hunter just use assassins cowl with the infinite fan knives. Makes the totems a breeze

I love this video. The mad scientist things you can do when it comes to build crafting in destiny are what keep me playing.... well that and gambit but with that being said I just wanna have a conversation with whomever greenlit green, mobile armor lock. I just wanna talk to them lol. I don't run into it that often for DR more than just people running it to spam green capybaras but just the idea that I can hit you with a lightning bolt thrown by Godwyn, The GOATED himself and you will just tank it and skitter around the corner is just infuriating to think about lol

13:03 anyone else notice how for extremely short periods the game tries to render the damage as 0 for some of them, but then they instantly round to 1?
What about omnioculus? That adds another 10% in pvp.
Lowest damage possible is easy. Just use Titan in salvations edge.

Stronghold used to be ridiculous in pvp. I still have a clip of me tanking 3 golden gun shots in gambit.

My take-away is that no matter how much I build into DR as a hunter, weave-walk beats it. tragic.
Anyways, here's a stupid build based on Explosions and the new "Fulmination" artifact perk.
Aspects: Gamble and Shroud / Fragments: Ruin, Dawn, Purpose, Hope, Courage, Justice / Swarm Grenade + Withering Blade + Silence and Squall + Gambler's Dodge
Exotic Class item with Verity (Hoil is recommended for second perk but isn't required)
Ticuu's is the exotic I use here, but Sun Shot is close enough if you don't like bows.
Use mods that generate orbs and give grenade energy (absolution, impact induction)
Solar Fulmination, Shieldcrush, Radiant Orbs are the only Artifact Mods that matter
Add it all together and you have a nuke killstreak build for sixes. Both the Swarm and Gamble Grenade should 1-tap at verity x3 OR if you wombo combo with a shuriken.
You used to be able to tank the Oversoul in D1 Crota using swords & a bubble. I wonder if this could do something similar in D2!
Doesnt Void Overshield also give DR? That could have also been used (though with the amount of DR present it wouldnt really effect the percentage)
I think void shield has a DR only in PvE at 50%

@TDTProductions I actually managed to get an immune result messing with clan the other week as a void titan was so cool. Survived fish and a lot of supers (not including prismatic as no one had it)
There is actually an armor mod called 'airborne damage resistance' that gives 100% damage resistance while airborne but the only way to apply it is editing memory.
If you shoot someone who has that mod on it will just show 'immune'.
I wonder if psychohack would also work
song of flame actually provides damage resistance to allies, and stacks with other dr like well mesome. you know what you have to do.
You should try this combo against chaos reach and see how long one can tank the hit
Rounding in Destiny is weird. If the damage is just 24.0000001 it will always show 25 as damage, despite it practicly being 24
I also wonder if Frost armor and Woven Mail are eating each others resistance

You could also stack with psycohack origin trait, and maybe void overshield if it provides damage resistance

Sever does not function in pvp damage output does not decrease. Buff still can be used to unravel though
I already run 100 resilience. Then i get land tank from my pulse, and then, at max 7.5% resistance from aeons. I'm sure its placebo effect, but i seem to get out of alot of situations.
Does the Psychohack (Witch Queen Origin Trait) or/and Overload (Anti Champ.) weapons decrease damage in too? I thought they did. Maybe only on PVE

That's a 10% with 5x and a 16% with 8x with wisper of rime.
Also running the spirit of Renewal + spirit of Cyrtarachne class item it really funny as you have the capability to survive 3 explosive shank explosions in a hero nightfall so it has potential.

You forgot about Galvanic armor
Just swap your game to Japanese in the steam properties. They use an actual 0 instead of the word 'Immune' in destiny 2. Then you can actually see a 0 damage in D2.
No Omnioculus resist is surprising, given the free value.
There's also the crazy gliched gun that has zero power that does 1 damage and 2 damage on crit

The stasis grenade wasn't spawning the crystal so it didn't give damage reduction or frost armor

You should try using the call with hatchling, new rocket sidearm with heal clip & incandescent, and the microcosm. You would get transcendence super quick and nothing will live after your done with it

Heir Apparent's dr was pretty heavily nerfed a while back. In pve it's unchanged but in pvp it's like 20%. You'd be getting higher with sword/glaive blocking in pvp.

Ik that’s not the point of this vid but does nobody else find it absurd that warlocks can out DR titans with ease? Titans need a whole exotic and need to not be doing anything but blocking to get our max DR but warlocks j slap on an aspect and they get to not only still move quickly while having such high DR but also generate threadlings. What the hell is the point of titans? Out punched by hunters and out DR’d by warlocks. Crazy
Strong hold used to be higher but it got nerfed from 90% on an aggressive frame sword to 60% and the extra dr brings it to 70~% as it used to be able to tank a full golden gun dying on the last shot and depending on one's internet most supers to the point stronghold heavy was the strongest thing in pvp in the game as only stasis could counter it and strand
