Welcome to another vlog of "My London Diaries". 🥰 One of the best things that we’re missing out on while living abroad is our traditional cuisines. But luckily there are a handful of Burmese restaurants in this country far away from home. So let’s visit there together to bring me back home. 😋

If you’re going to do conversion, you will lose appetite because everything looks expensive. The last time I had monhinga at fine dining place, it cost me about 14£ and bayar Kyaw was 8£

The UK sucks! We have many fine Myanmar restaurants in almost every major city here and reasonably priced too. Come visit the U.S and will treat you to the real authentic Burmese cuisine. While glad to see its presence and promotion, is the chef even Burmese? Thanks for sharing and I'm glad to be in the States.😁
US sucks more and if even the chef isn’t Burmese, you should be great that he or she cook abit close
You can’t say UK sucks but saying Burmese cuisine sucks in there and there is more Burmese in US
@@reddevilssiu4369 I don't understand your rationale as to why the US sucks more. Perhaps I should clarify that this particular restaurant sucks among maybe hundreds of Burmese restaurants in the UK because the chef is a foreigner who most likely and assumably has not lived in Myanmar to know what true Burmese taste really is, and likely given a few lessons with recipes. All Burmese restaurants I know here are cooked or run by Burmese. FYI I've cooked exactly these dishes for twice as long as you are old quite regularly, especially Mohinga. My apologies for saying the UK sucks as it offended you as you may consider yourself a British. If I were running a restaurant and calling it Burmese cuisine, I would at least have someone who knows Burmese cuisine or speak some Burmese😁. For 10 quids or less, I could get a good fish and chips than pay 18 quids for a bowl of Mohinga.
