I'm sure you know the actor wanted to move on to other projects & choose his death... and they certainly weren't happy about the wait for the next season. We all spent months fighting for it.
@@HeavyHitta_83 if you really loved the show you would be happy they got season 4. The show has always been underfunded and the underdog. Firefly was cancelled after it's first season. As fans we are so lucky this underdog show is still going, be thankful
@@h20luli SyFy is owned by Comcast/Universal and they really don't have any international markets before 2018, European Cable operators and Politicians blocked Comcast from getting a foothold in the Europe market. Comcast and its networks like SyFy had to use Netflix to distribute their shows internationally. This is why Comcast acquired a controlling interest in SKY-TV in 2018 to establish a European distribution network for Comcast and all of its networks like SyFy. So no, international markets didn't help this show at all.
@@stinka4079 Not really, ratings are the only thing advertisers look at. The Expanse had almost twice the viewership as Wynonna Earp and they came in under budget but Syfy still canceled the Expanse and kept WE. As someone who deals in stats, this makes no sense.
