- While some economists felt an interest rate cut was imminent, others thought we may even have had a rate hike at the last Reserve Bank meeting,
But that seems to be behind us now, with the latest inflation numbers, which came out last week, showing inflation dropping to 3.5%.
Does this mean interest rates are coming sooner rather than later?

@@emp731for not clearly stating the facts that inflation is not coming down ?. Very weird when they state inflation is coming down when clearly the Rba stated they will ignore the Government spending on Give away’s for electricity etc. very weird i thought these guys would provide facts. Inflation is heading back up it appears near 4% imo
@@vincewant6325 5% inflation in 2025/26 And RBA doesn't need to lift, ASIC and APRA will be red taping everyone up the 👃 so it feels like 10% APRA buffer and it will be targeted but not temporary. ATO will finish them off. 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿 out

Please can you explain why your stating on your video inflation is going down when even the Rba acknowledged and said it wouldn’t take the government’s electricity free money into consideration. Michael you fully know inflation is not coming down even if the altered number states 3.5% its near 4% still so can you please explain why your pushing this narrative Sir
@@vincewant6325 there is no doubt a number of factors affect inflation, and a short term factor is the electricity subsidies. If you watch the video you would know that we felt that the price of oil is even more important, and we suggested a rise in that could push inflation in the wrong direction
