Thanks for this. I am using a Panansonic DLP plugged into my macBook Pro through HDMI and do not see the projector as an option for screens. How can I get it to show up and cue videos to it?
Could you please inform how i could provide a black screen while I’m playing a music cue after a video. Because I every time a video is finished and play the next cue I’m having my desktop screen. Even when I’m having extended monitor.

What should I do to to vanish it? you go on system preference and mission controle and you unselect the screen have a distincts space and you reboot your mac 2. put a black wallpeper on your second screen and its done ;)
