Funny he should mention Togo…. That’s where i caught my first bass in FL. And, it was on a Culprit worm, because it was all I had in that color at the time. I spent a TON of money only to learn that Junebug, green pumpkin are about the only colors used for soft plastics. Great video. I love listening to Randy talk about Florida lakes.
Thanks Randy for this information and I recently watched a video on what colors Bass actually see and they don't see the blue color spectrum. When they showed this color Junebug it actually has a greenish color to it even under water in clear conditions. It was interesting to watch and thought that I would share this with you. Great stuff and keep up the FFS fight!
The first time I started catching decent sized bass was on a June bug spider jig type lure. The water visibility was a lot more but I was fishing at night in the moonlight and that was also post spawn. That lake has changed and I cant find that lure the same anyway but.. oddly enough I found that the same time of year now gives me fishing from trolling a Rapala in the morning.
I use junebug year round especially on my jigs in the winter and z craw jr about all summer. I love big junebug lizard in late spring early summer. I make my own jigs and I make a pb&j jig with the brown and junebug skirt in it. I’m not sure what it is about one lake I fish but they’ll eat junebug all summer in somewhat clearer water 3-5’ clarity. Anyways junebug is awesome!!!…
Video idea randy... how about explaining how fish position on cover. Wether deep into a lay down on on the edge. Or what conditions might effect how they position in cover.
Im no longer following Ike , he was on his Bass U saying we either on the Randy Blaukat or Ben Milliken side on the FFS argument but he said it’s a great tool , no more casting and finding bass are over and he promoted it , I told em you did not build ur career with this BS , he’s onboard with it and I’m not going to support that what so ever , loved the video mr Randy junebug works here very well too
Junebug is awesome in my area of GA. I've been killing the bass on junebug senko wacky rigged and junebug 8" zoom lizard Texas rigged.
Thanks Randy, don’t always comment but do appreciate all your insight and watch your videos all the time.
Thx man
What the Hell!!!! I watch his videos AND comment all the time time, and he’s never said “Thx man” to me! 🤣
@@phillamoore157 thx man
@@randyblaukatintuitive I knew that would work!! 🤣🤣🤣 I love you, bud...just rib'ing you a little (to give you a break from all the haters). 👍
Yup I agree with most of this. My number one soft plastics are the June bug lizard and the natural earthworm color
We had great success with June Bug lizards in East Texas in the 80's! Still a good color. Thanks for the videos, Randy!👍🏻
Plum,June bug, watermelon and green pumpkin are the only colors I buy in soft plastics.
I spent a LOT of money learning that fundamental lesson….
Plum, Junebug, Red Bug, Blue Fleck, and green pumpkin blue are the 5 I buy.

Junebug with a chartreuse tail works good in East Tn lakes
Thank you for the info Randy!

June bug worked on Beaver back in the day. Need to get back down there and try it again. Back then it was back in the creeks with the coontails.
6" stickbait in junebug by Gambler is 1 of my favs...works well in my "stained" water conditions
Ol’ monster

Tannic water is also an excellent area to target southern esox species. Chain pickerel love the acidic water around pine banks
It is amazing how colour affect the success of your trip. Thanks Randy. I fully agree with you.
I've found junebug works any color water and any type of sunny or cloudy days.

I would like to hear about all your stories that go with all your trophies in the background.

Hey Randy, ever try the junebug colored big salty chunk (obviously on a jig). Curious if I should add them to my cart
I found that my area in Florida has been overfished with Junebug so I just go to straight black and I catch just as many
The situation where junebug out fishes other colors is anytime you fish in Florida ... lol
Thanks Randy. Keep up the fight
Randy do you fish small ponds?
South Louisiana in the basin or marsh Junbug is deadly.
7 inch culprit junebug if I'm fishing with a worm in the later spring thru late summer
That’s the only color I use

Works in NC great May thru June.
Just because Randy doesn’t support FFS, doesn’t mean every video needs a FFS comment. This is about June bug worms, not electronics.
@@yakangler419thank you for saying what I was thinking.

Never had any use for Ike. Years ago he would throw tantrums on camera at tournaments if things didn’t go his way. Not a role model for youth.
Junebug is Not the best color in FL...Red shad is!!!!
Stop blowing up the spot!
