Good idea with the simple tutorial in the beginning. Given that I was actually looking up covers to see how some other people did it, the beginning was quite helpful. Try without the backing track next time though, you wanna capture that raw beauty when you're acoustic. Great cover, good technique, exemplary voice. Congratulations on a song well done!
@FNGStudios sometimes there's more than one way to skin a cat... I picked at it and found this way to be rather easy, even for inexperience players. to each theys own!
glad the video helped... but as far as the strumming pattern, you'll just have to watch and listen to get it down as best as you can. Just keep at it and you'll get it.
@seetherfan1328 haha That's true! Well when I was learning this song, I watched Three Days Grace play the song and pieced it together with some tabs I found on the internet. But the way you play is cool because it's different. It's kind of weird to me how it sounds the same! xD
very nice although it is very difficult to follow your chord progressions with the d w/o middle finger and your A and Emaj cord, if you could please add the tabs at the bottom of your video it would make all of us very happy
Nice. Wishing I could hear you more than the guitar a little. Maybe it's my speakers but I think there could be a little more balance so you and the guitar are on the same volume level. Nice cover though!
Guess that you dont get me right. btw, I think that this song is played in standard tune. Im talking about another way of chorus playing - another chords
no offense bro, but this video could have been awesome if you hadn't been gnawing on your gum the whole time. makes it really hard to pay attention to anything else when all i hear is the gum chewing.
Other tutorials made this song so complicated, I like this guy he made it as easy as it needs to be
Man it’s been awhile since I’ve came to this video. Finally got a guitar again after 5 years. This song is literally my highschool days.
could you put the cords in the description?
i played it by ear... that's how i roll.
The real way to play it is in drop D
Thank you so much for this video. This is definitely the best way to play this song
Great tutorial. Thanks, man

@dudefrombarrie I learned this song by ear, and i really don't care to learn the actual way, my way sounds good enough.

Its right fat as sound but that low D is missin. Drop tune that E to a D

i play this song a lot differently. Not saying that the way you play it wrong, just that there is another way to do it.

Hey, that sound nice. But without check chords, I was thinking that chorus is player like D - A - F# - E :D
what tuning is this
No tuning. Its chorus chords
lies it's tuned a step down I had to figure it out on my own haha
Guess that you dont get me right. btw, I think that this song is played in standard tune. Im talking about another way of chorus playing - another chords
No problem -3
I wanna chew gum and play this to
much easier and sounds better if you were going to play it acousticly on your own.

Tayla you have to half step down bro
no offense bro, but this video could have been awesome if you hadn't been gnawing on your gum the whole time. makes it really hard to pay attention to anything else when all i hear is the gum chewing.
