Man I wish I could get around good enough to rabbit hunt!! That took me back to my youth and all the hunting I used to do! I like rabbit better than almost anything!
@@OutsidetheLevees THANK YOU for all the hard work putting them together You have a lot of viewers watching them. For me, I look forward to the next one you are doing a fantastic job ‼️
That is real man like to pray before u go hunt that is a blessing to go be Americans and get God food it is nice recipe for the rabbit to my dad use to cook rabbit like that but we use orange juice to no sugar crock pot them what a meal God bless you and your family's Timmy c Bristol ct 💯
My first hunting dogs were beagles, Amos and Andy. My how time flys by. That was about 55 years ago. Coyotes have about destroyed rabbit hunting for us in Southern KY and TN. Lots of good memories hunting rabbits. A rabbit was the first thing I killed with my first Lab and I have to say she was a good rabbit dog for kicking them up. Fun video and a great looking meal as well.
Larry, you're exactly right buddy, I'm originally from WV but have Been here in NC for 36yrs now, right outside of Charlotte. We never seen a coyote now they're are everywhere! I can hear packs of them every night yipping back and forth at each other and they've put a hurtin on rabbits and back home I hear they've decimated the grouse population. Around here the game wardens don't really care how you kill them they just want people to start killing them, they're taking over and killing everything.
"There he go" ! Hey Jared,I just watch a Hunt in South Carolina. I could not figure out what the Heck this Fella was saying *Derhego" LMBO xxz. I wish you Good Hunting 🌞. JO JO IN VT 💞💨❄️☃️
Rabbit hunting is my favorite thing to do here in ohio. A friend of mine turned me on to skinning and de-boning our rabbits in the field right after the hunt with all the hunters helping. Goes quick and no mess at the house. And maybe remove a step out of that good looking dinner you made that I will definitely have to try!
Just watched your rabbit hunting video and by chance I just parboiled a rabbit this morning from this week's hunt. I'm going to cook bunny and dumplings for dinner tonight. Keep the videos coming.
@@OutsidetheLevees Pretty simple. You parboil the rabbit in a couple of quarts of water seasoned with salt, pepper and a couple of garlic cloves. Take the rabbit out, debone and add back to the now broth. I make my dough for the dumplings the same as my biscuits. Flour, butter, little salt, sugar and milk. Roll the dough in quarter size balls, lightly flour and drop back into the broth with the rabbit. Cook another 20 minutes until it thicken up. Better than chicken and dumplings. That's the way we do it in North Carolina. Enjoy.
Id like to see y’all go again and maybe y’all can get some harnesses like my brother got me for Christmas that goes on your dog 🐕 and is made so you can mount your GoPro on it so you can watch what your dog is doing
Wow I can't believe you did it an awesome rabbit hunting video thank you for the content brother I look forward to finish watching this one. I have a little rabbit hunting video of my own on my channel
Grew up in Reggio. Dad always had pack of 7 beagles. Took his vacation in November and we hunted the marsh. Burned areas we planned to hunt while on fishing trips. Try battering the rabbit in flour and frying (browning) it. Then saute onions and mushrooms in same pot. Add beef stock, seasonings and rabbit and cook on medium to low for about 2 hours. Delicious rabbit in brown gravy. Thanks for the memories.
Just a word to the wise , by tapping a hard metal utensil against an aluminum pressure cooker edge where the gasket wants to seal, you will cause nicks and ruin the ability to seal.
Just a silly question... The rabbits that are sold at feed stores are those safe to be purchased killed and eaten as the ones you hunt out in the wild?
Another great job brother and boy does that creole look tasty. The way the meat shredded it might also be good in a BBQ sandwich like pulled pork. God bless and keep the videos coming.
Dang Jarad, that looks good enough to eat!😊😊 Looks a lot like the pheasant au vin we used to cook after our hunts in Nebraska, but we used bacon to season things up in the roux and baked it. Personally, any hunting, clean and cook video is fine with me! I always enjoyed the dynamics of the group and interaction of and with the dogs. Never hunted rabbits! With or without dogs! Good video, make some more, included you boys when possible. Love to see kids, sons and daughters involved as much as possible. They are the future of hunting and fishing conservation!
Thank you so much brother. This was filmed on a school day but yes otherwise they would be there. I will have to look up the au vin recipe. Thanks for the support

So y'all use shotguns when y'all hunt for the rabbit's?
Yes. Moving targets are better taken with a shotgun and rifle bullets travel much farther

Zippy? or Zippo? He sure looks familiar!!!
Zippy

Here 90 miles north of you we chicken fry the rabbit and make a tomato brown gravy with a pan of biscuits. That looks delicious...
Do you boil it first to help make it tender?

Looks like some good food there! North Louisiana here!

Can't go wrong cooking rabbit any kind of way. I've never cooked them like this in a rabbit creole. I'll have to try it.
Let me know how you like it!

Damn. I never thought about that. Thanks for the heads up.
Yes make another rabbit hunting videos and squirrel to
Will do. Thanks brother
Yes, please do another rabbit hunt. Is it legal to hunt with a drone? If not, maybe bring the dogs to the marsh and no guns, just the drone!
Long as you are not using it to aid in the hunt. I will def run one next time

The rabbits that are sold at feed stores are those safe to be purchased killed and eaten as the ones you hunt out in the wild?
