Just got a kaldheim set pack booster two fynn the fangbearer's, a Vorinklex, and a rare from the list. Crazy.
The reason you got two rares in one pack is because you can a card of any rarity from the lesson slot
I ended up getting a Witherbloom and a Quandrix pre-release kit.

Apparently it's possible to pull 4 rares and a mythic from a pack. 3 of 5 packs from one of my prerelease had this happen it was bananas

What is special about Prerelease packs?
You typically build a deck around what you find in the box at a prerelease event / tournament. They used to be the first taste of a new set, but these days they also sell set booster boxes on prerelease weekend.
