The diversity in the structure of plants always amazes me. I don't have the proper light for plants like these and I am always tempted to pick one up and try it out maybe with a grow light. I have not ventured into the world of grow lights and I much rather care for plants I know will thrive in the environment my apartment provides. We don't want them to suffer. As always, thanks for sharing.
I have had this plant for a couple of years. It lives in my east facing window. It's given me several pups and is currently flowering for me for the third time. I like that the leaves tend to droop when it needs water so it’s easy to know when to water. Great succulent!
OMG. You have one left to complete your promise of 365 days of plant info. I personally want to Thank a you so much for all these wonderful videos, plant info and your presentation is awesome.
Wow, I love this cute little plant, it's leaves look almost transparent and that is so cool, and the structure of it is just adorable. I have never seen one of these in person, but if I ever ran into one that had a similar vibe I just might have to pick it up. Thanks again Summer, only ten more days to go and then we will be done with this series and I will be sad, but excited to see what you have in store for us all. See you tomorrow.
hi Summer, cute plant and planter, I cant believe we are 10 away from completing 365 days of plant one on me plant information and care videos. This series is so good, not sure what I'm going to do for my daily new plant education and care, its upsetting just thinking about it.
Since you mentioned that the plant is from South Africa: Should you water during winter and allow it to have dormancy during the summer months if you live in the northern hemisphere? And since the southern summer is in the northern winter months, can they be kept in heated rooms or is it better to place them in unheated rooms like other succulents/cacti? I do own a few South African succulents and I am never sure how to properly care for them.
How do you know when to water it? I barely water mine out of fear it will rot. There's some pieces at the bottom that are wrinkly but the top looks OK. It's also flowering somewhat. I see a bud but it hasn't bloomed to its fullest for months. Is that even normal?
these videos are great.... everytime I think about getting a new plant, I come to you to get specifics first......thanks so much
just got one as a gift from my sister , I loved it so much . will learn how to take care of it .

Woot Portland for the win with that cute planter
Every plant is fascinating in its own way! Ten more to go. What are we going to do without a daily dose of plant fun!!
Thank you for talking about Haworthia, They're one of my favorite plants :)
Nice nice nice nice I love your all videos

Pretty!
You should do a video of Senecio angulatus. They're very underrated and underappreciated plants.
Curio? Perhaps 😘
tell us more about a "quartzite" potting mixture
agreed!!!
Mine bloomed and has babies coming out all, around the truck. How should i transplant them?.
I think it's truncata because a lot of haworthia usually have leaves that taper into pseudo spines.
what are your plans after 365 days? its almost a year! 😭
mmmm, I think is much easier to propagate it from offsets. You can see some of my haworthias and other succulents at instagram @megusina
