If you read both of the scripture passages, one beginning in Matthew 24:37 and the other beginning in Luke 17:26, you will see the truth, if you read them very closely.
Also read the explanation of the parable of the wheat and the tares gave the disciples beginning with Matthew 13:36 very closely too.
