The US 7th fleet is the most powerful weapon in the world. Hopefully Thomas will manage it effectively.

Respects to this change of command ceremony. Very well spoken. Even if imho, some opsec was possibly violated via mentioning so many names and tasks and current status??? Anyhow, back in the very early 20th century, shortly following the Russo-Japan war, an ancestor of mine on father's side was Commander of then, Asiatic Fleet. According to documents, the fleet at the time toned down on the armored Cruiser patrols as to not create unnecessary provocations in the region in the still tense situation following the significant war. As part of his tasks he reportedly sailed in gunboats up the Yangtze river in effort to make both relations with any Chinese Navy contacts or forces at the time, but also reportedly to promote greater trade relations and diplomacy. He later went on to help advocate and initiate the historic development of ship launched aviation for original purpose of maritime reconnaissance prior to his retirement. God speed peace and a genuine tranquility pathway forward ✌🌐🔛 thanks for your service
