    I’ve just bought this meter I think it’s very good it’s handy to put on different cars and it’s not to badly priced and people seem to use them I’m happy with it.
    Just for fun I’ll try it out with my real car and see how much the Speedo differs.
    Going to test my 124019 stock speed test as soon as it’s dry out don’t really want to run it in the wet.

    Good GPS right there Richie. I love mine. Only gripe is the battery cover as you pointed out.

      ### I wrap my velcro around the battery cover like this to keep the battery cover on securely: postimg.cc/5jStgDcm

    Since it's just over a year now, would you still recommend this GPS or is there another one you recommend now? Thx for this video! Glad your car was ok too.

    Nice. I picked of othese up a few weeks ago. They were on sale so i got a good deal. I got the newer model like you did. They say it is better than the old one. I noticed the batrery doo issue as well. I have some of thos batteries laying around so i will likley just tape the door shut. Just in case i want to replace battery at one point. I haven't used it yet howver i can't wait to try it. Thanks for the review sir.

    You could use a shrink wrap or cling film to hold it together that’s my only gripe is the battery cover. My Speedo is just showing 000000 although it’s indoors does your work in the house?

    • @DriftomaniacsRC
      @DriftomaniacsRC  2 года назад +1

      The shrink wrap/clingfilm idea is simply genius! Mine in general doesn't work too well in the house, seems to need to be outside to get the best gps signal

      @@DriftomaniacsRC thanks for the reply that’s what I’m going to do for a quick and easy fix and no mine inside doesn’t really work what speed tops on 2s and 3s with standard gearing firstly with a stock motor and then with brushless set up do you expect from a 019 I maybe a year or two behind you guys but still having great fun trying to get my wltoys as close to 100 as possible. Thanks again for all your replies

    I have a question about the 6ch transmitter/reciever for $30.
    I got one. And i found it to only get about 100m before it started surging all over the place and i had to very gently get it back in range before i trusted my controls again. Did i do anything wrong? Or was it just a bit of a generous estimation? Im using it on a losi speed t.

    • @DriftomaniacsRC
      @DriftomaniacsRC  5 лет назад

      I have range tested that radio and it will do 500M! So something is wrong! Was the gyro on and kicking in? Just a thought?

    • @Link_Says
      @Link_Says 5 лет назад

      @@DriftomaniacsRC what does the gyro do? I only plugged in the servo and the throttle channels because on the losi speed t i have, thats all there is.

    • @Link_Says
      @Link_Says 5 лет назад

      Oh do you mean we dont want the gyro? no i think its all turned down. Sounds like i need to have another play. Thanks!

    How long on average does yours take to charge? Do you know if there are spare batteries for it? My only comment is the back battery case cover falls off so easy

    That Dynamite GPS finally quit!??? I remember when you bought that thing... Lol!
    I do need to get one. I'm getting questions about the 10.5 in my Javelin.

    • @DriftomaniacsRC
      @DriftomaniacsRC  5 лет назад +1

      It's good and a lot easier to use than the dynamite and the dual signal accuracy is appealing as is the datalogging for those that need it. Battery life leads the dynamite (even when it was new!) for dead! It's a good job you worded that post well, and not 'I'm getting questions about my 10.5' "!

    When I set the frequency to 10Hz in the GNSS Logger software, record new data, and try to download the .kml file, the data I get is STILL in 1 data-entry per second (1Hz). Does anyone else have this issue, and know how to fix it?

    I have to say I am having major problems with this unit. The app running on the computer app just crashes when I press the config button the computer screen and the developer are no help - all they say is upload the new update - I have done that and no difference and now they say they will look at the issue on a few weeks - would not recommend this unit to anyone

    Is this good for airplanes?

  • @guyzerr1577

    The unit itself is ok but the software to access it is garbage. They really need to invest some time and get it done so it works.
