My boyfriend got the dog, but since he lived with my family and I, and my ex was always going somewhere, the dog was basically closer to me. Luckily, when our relationship ended, he left the dog with me, because he knew it would be better and that my family and I would be devastated if he took him. After our break up, I would let him take him for a day every once in a while to see him, but that stopped after about a month or two, because it was just prolonging our suffering & the dogs. The dog is still with me to this day.

My parents basically split her medical bills even after the divorce because my dad and mom both loved her so much. She passed away not to long ago at 11 so I think it was for the best that she had a familiar environment.
My ex left me homeless to move in with another dude, so I couldn't have my dog with me on the streets. She gave him away and I haven't seen him since. It's been 6 years and it still crushes me 😢 Little guy was my best friend. He's about 12 now..idk if he's still alive, but I hope he knows that I never stopped loving him. In all honesty, I pray that he forgot about me, so he wouldn't feel like I do.
