Excellent video, and I see a few of the comments on here nit picking at a few things but Ibthink yous have all did yourselves proud yous arent all T2s with a microprocessor controlled over titanium alloy, honestly yous did really well. what did yous use to join the new flue liner to the existing flue, a flue straight coupling or is that the wrong terminology. keep em coming Bobbers.
Thanks for the comment. No reason we do bend pipes as well! I love doing the old bending as if you get it right it looks great! Ben who did the airing cupboard does not bend much thinking about it. He needs to practice! Have a good week.
Nice work, just a question about internal boiler s. Where do they pull the intake air from is it from outside by pipe or are they using the air inside the house ,cheers
Most boilers are on balanced flue now so air is taken from outside. But if you have a standard flue the air is taken from inside the house. Hope this helps !
Many thanks for your comment. We couldn't fit a Sapphire as they don't yet make a designated flue liner kit for the Sapphire and the customer wanted us to use their existing chimney! The customer also didn't want a combi boiler as they wanted to still have an immersion back up. At the end of the day we always try and meet the customers wishes. Keep up the good work.
You are correct and it has taken 6 months for somebody to notice! When i went back to commission it a few days later i spotted it then so stuck one in which was very frustrating as there is nothing more frustrating than a school boy error!! Well done for spotting it! Have a good week.
They are the same. It says in the video we were going to go back a few days later to power flush. You will see there was no bypass either but we had ordered the filter and bypass and they were not delivered so they were done with the flush. Have a good weekend
Makes sense, rare to see boilers installed open flued these days, its a useful option for oil boilers of course if the manufacturer allows it .@@BartonOilBurnerServices
Nice work as always, your team work well together 👍
Thanks for the lovely comments mate

Hi. It was all new the flue and came in a kit. The liner slides into a coupling then you screw it in. Hope this helps!
Like watching your videos, is there a reason you use solder elbows instead of bending nice smooth bends ?

How comes you didn’t fit sapphire? And also change for combi?

@@BartonOilBurnerServices a lot to be said for simplicity of a gravity system!
No bypass before the 2 port valves 🤔

Done them a favour fitting a grant. No other oil boiler worth fitting atm.
Totally agree. Thanks for the comment!
As always nice tidy job looks great
Thanks mate
no system clean and no mag filter, thought oil regs were same as gas

Tidy work as usual. Presumably the existing ventilation provision was suitable for the new boiler, (we didn't see the cupboard door back on).
Thanks for the comment and sorry i have only just seen this! The cupboard door never went back on as a carpenter had to put slightly bigger vents in!
