Thank you Jeff, and as you always say have a nice rest of your weekend. Stay safe, stay healthy and we’ll see you next time. Oh thank you for showing us your kiddos! ❤️🌷💚🙃
I usually don't like long vids but yours are interesting and hold my attention. I check the coldness for me it's going to warm up a little. My snapdragons, and petunias did not want to sprout. So I sprinkled a little more seed. OMG every thing is sprouting. I'll have to many at least they are free. I loved your interesting plants, I like unusual ones. I had a 5 gal tank of carnivorous plants when I was in my 20s. They were fun, sorry to see your umbrella bent. Hope this year not gonna be a stormy one. My me storms blow off the lake without warning.
I’ve been puddling around a bit in the garden, things are starting to emerge slowly. It’s beautiful out today so I’m taking the OLD dog out with me when I go. She has a tendency to wander off so I have to keep an eye on her because she might forget where she lives. We have three and a half acres but we also have hawks and she’s a little thing so you just never know. 🌷💚🙃
Just slip some slipcovers over the swing cushions or buy new ones & pressure wash the top cover. Or pressure wash it all. Lol Can you weld the umbrella or maybe buy 2 metal braces/cuffs to clamp it together? I like the swing location now, though.😊 Good to see some plants going outside. The lowest temps we are getting for next 10 days here in GA will be 43…one day…2 days at 45, highs in 70’s, so I’ve got the majority of tropicals back outside incl some hibiscus that I store in the garage for the winter. They should be fine at 45 degrees climbing to 75. (It’s been warmer but today, Easter weekend, the weather has taken a bit of a nose dive. Lol
If you do revive the color on your glider, would you be able to change the color completely? Maybe to blue that goes with your pottery? 🤔 Love your video's Jeff. I always look forward to them, love your personality too!
Hi Jeff! Your new plants will be so pretty, and interesting, once they grow up some. I'm looking forward to seeing their progress. Of course you got more heliconias since they are some of your favorites. '-) They are pretty plants. The BOP flowers are so pretty. I like the glider there, too. The view is so pretty. Please show us how you clean it, and maybe dye it. That, to me, would be interesting to see. Hi Pumpkin, Turbo and Colby! The teaser at the end is giving me new puppy vibes. I'm looking forward to seeing that video. Thank you so much for sharing!
LOL I use a steak knife on the bananas, or a machete. We've got some Ensetes locally - The trick is to bury them about 6 inches deeper than they are in the pot to keep the corm underground, and mulch around them. Works like a charm. I like the glider there as well. Im sure you'll put some planters alongside it, and deck the area out for summer! Fun stuff! Glad you got some hirsutas again! Mine survived the winter and has a ton of new shoots coming out. Its been outside now for a while and doing fine.
I like the glider, but not the color. It doesn't go with the beautiful blues you have around the yard, but that's just my opinion (and not my yard). Nice teaser!
I'm so jealous of your weather right now. A while back you talked about how zones aren't created equal, like how a North Carolina zone 8 is NOT the same as a Washington zone 8 and I didn't really understand that. This is my first winter in Washington zone 8b, I'm from Maryland zone 7b and I was SO excited to be moving up a zone but let me tell you... you were correct. I'd take an east coast or mid west zone 7 over a west coast zone 8 allll day. It's mind boggling that we are still in the 40's during the day right now. My plants are confused because the days are getting longer but they aren't getting the much needed sun and warmth. It's not fair lol. Sorry I needed to vent!!
I’ve been kinda bad lately. I cashed in my 401K to pay off the house. It took a big hit and I wanted to pay off the house before it got hit again and I had nothing left. Anyway there was a little bit of money left over and I’ve been spending it like crazy! Having an addiction to inside and outside plants is a bad bad thing! I have to stop but plants give me a peace that most people wouldn’t understand. I did end up buying two plants from Plant Delights nursery, there were more I wanted but with the outrageous shipping cost I HAD to limit my purchase. They have wonderful plants and I would buy more but their shipping costs are at least double if not triple of some other online nurseries.😢🌷💚🙃
Hibiscus tiliaceus is trying hard to shade everyone else out. Spring sprang quite a while ago. We're rolling right on into summer now. Got a teaser of rain on Thursday evening. Expecting more rain early in the week. It is quite hot and muggy for early April but I'm not going to complain because I hate the cold.
Those Ensettes can handle 33 easy. I just left mine out a few weeks ago and handled 33 easy. I left 1 out that was in ground over winter, wrsoed with frost cloth and bubble wrap and it handled 3 nights in 20-22 F for 12 hours each night and doing well That swing maybe just spring for new cushions and a new fabric cloth roof. As for that umbrella they just make them as sturdy with inferior materials than they used to. I recently had same issue. Nice looking bird of paradise, how long have you had it before it started putting out flowers. Want to get one have a couple of white bird of paradise for a year Finally did you get a new puppy that teaser left me curious

Awe your a tease 😂 can’t wait until the next week’s video! 🌷💚🙃

Thank you so much for letting us see all that you have!
I’m so excited to see your new plants grow and flower! 🌷💚🙃
I can’t wait to see your stick plant bloom. 🌷💚🙃
I’m thinking next weekend is wedding weekend, it’s very nice that your thinking about us and doing a pre filming so we don’t end us missing you.🌷💚🙃

I'm growing a banana with a self watering pot. Half citrus tree soil, half perlite.
@@Meskarune Thank you.🌷💚🙃
