- Delft3D is a integrated modelling suite, which simulates two-dimensional (in either the horizontal or a vertical plane) and three-dimensional flow, sediment transport and morphology, waves, water quality and ecology and is capable of handling the interactions between these processes.
The suite is designed for use by domain experts and non-experts alike, which may range from consultants and engineers or contractors, to regulators and government officials, all of whom are active in one or more of the stages of the design, implementation and management cycle.

Hi, can you say to me whats is a good configuration of the pc to Delft3D? Processor, memory and video card?
The performance of the software depends on the complexity of your models and simulations. High performance CPU with multiple cores, 32GB RAM for complex problem, SSD. You can use both windows and linux OS.

Thank you soooo much. This video really helped me. I had absolutely no idea how to create a .dep file. Wasn't clear in the documentation. Can't wait for the next video. Hope it's gonna be about coupling Delft3D Waves and Flow in the GUI. I find it quite unintuitive :)
