As a DJ with moderate hearing damage I would recommend in-ear monitors (with some sort of foam / sound dampening) for loud clubs, to avoid cranking up your levels for cueing and potentially damaging your hearing. If the club is loud, the last thing you want to do is compete with the loudness by cranking your headphones.

Thanks! I tried to get sound from my s88 keybrd thru audio6 sound out into my mixer. Nothing. Tried every output. Too bad i picked two pxs. of jnk. Bought a korg with audio out.

I sort of like the mk6. It got my mic signal regulated even if the signal on the mic chanel is entering into yellow while recording. The playback of the recorded track signals will be sown around or below 8db. Good for me
The level of your headphones is also dependent on the ohm rating of your headphones. 80ohms tend to be the norm for the DT770 Pro, 45ohms for the Pro X, which will be louder and the entry Focals, 32ohms, so louder again. The outputs of the interface are loud; there’s no measurable difference between this a the other interfaces I have to compare it next to, so saying you have to pump the outputs is inaccurate. There are also other interfaces with SPDIF digital I/O and they’re classed as real I/O (in total). This makes your review seem somewhat misleading. This is a great interface for the money and I can’t see why anyone would be unhappy with it unless they wanted a loopback feature and didn’t know a workaround.

The s88 is a MIDI keyboard. It doesn't generate sound.

In the end. I'm still a Motu girl. I got my mk4 repaired but also have the UltraLite mk5.

KA 6 is dogshit it has a built in fault with phantom power, I've had it for a month will be sending it back for a refund .
