I mostly disliked ironweed when I was a farmer because it's SO TOUGH! Bet deer won't bother it - even goats don't eat it. Now, I've retired to natural habitat gardener and am thrilled to find one in my yard. I'm turning the hayfield to meadow and looking forward to seeing it take hold there.
Isn't amazing how native plants can return to where they once were abundant? Send us your pictures of your restored meadow, we'd love to see it come to life! And, congrats on your retirement!
Do you know of any native plant seller in Michigan? I have been searching for dworf oak here and had no luck yet. I started changing my turf grass after watching your videos. Thank you for you amazing content. I love your videos.
Thanks so much for watching and for your interest in native plants and the creatures they support! Let us know if there are any topics in particular that you would like more information on.

Cedar Waxwings LOVE MULBERRIES. However, most people don't appreciate the "purple poop" they bomb your area with, ha, ha!
Aren't they beautiful birds?!
I’ve enjoyed these webinars but please stop using hardiness zones for native plants. Show their native ranges with BONAP maps and/or use eco regions.
Thank you! We sure do. Check out our most recent video, Beautiful and Easy Native Plants For Pollinators.
