To fix/tighten the stripped screw hole, simply add a drop of super glue into the plastic hole, then flow a sprinkle of baking soda into the hole. This will form a strong material coating. Repeat ONLY if the hole is still too large. Take care
Our hoshizaki ice machine have ice bridging and being too big issues. Causing it not dropping properly and backup and freezes up. I changed a new float switch but same thing happened. what can possibly be the cause? It’s not the ice cube float switch big/small adjustment issue either. i checked the inlet valve and its good as well

I checked a hoshizaki ice machine yesterday. It constantly dumps water. I checked the dump valve. Is it possible the float switch is inop. And not telling the circuit board the tray has enough water? Causing it to overfill?

Can you tell me how you cleaned all that black junk out of that tiny hole once you removed the old float valve?

I did that same exact unit not to long ago. Water distribution tube on both sides were missing end plugs and was losing water.
