- I hope you guys liked this vlog! The audio was really bad in the building so I apologize! This meet was so chaotic but it's super funny looking back at the video! Yay Whitney! So proud of you and Laney. Whit, you've had another disrupted preseason but you still got to Nationals, and came 6th. YAY!🎊🎉 So proud of your attitude before and after competing. You have matured so so much in that way. That whole event seemed so disorganised which wouldn't have helped at all with your preparation and warming up etc. Pretty disgusting for the National Championships. never have i ever been to such a chaotic meet before. i was shook when the lights went out during your session, but when the lights went out again during mine i was DONE😭but anyways you still slayed like always queen!!
I hated nationals this year I hope 2023 is better. It made me so stressed, literally the meets my gym hosts are way less chaotic. You would think that a big meet like this would not be chaotic but nope!
This always happens to us the lights turn out about 6 to 15 times a day

Edit:your beam was amazing I'm not sure if people know but making it to nationals or even regionals is very hard where I live they only take the top 10 in the state and sometimes it really nerve racking so watching this video she seems really calm(i need her to teach me how) but amazing job whitney

I qualified for nationals on every event but then I hurt both of my knees really bad and I couldn’t go 😔 but you did so amazing Whitney and your so so so talented 😄

Great job Whitney!! I know you have high standards for yourself, but you did amazing. You inspired me to start gymnastics a few years ago, now i’m going into my third meet season!
OMG this year I was an alternate for level 9 eastern nationals, I got the call about 3 days before that I was going! Same as my teammate! But unfortunately, we were at different times, and couldn't find a hotel with 2 rooms for us to be together. I hadn't done any of my routines in 2 weeks, and i started working a completely new vault. So I went to the gym during xcel practice to do some vaults before we drove up. AND THE POWER WENT OUT! So I did yuerchenko timers in the dark with flashlights on the board. Anyway, it was fun but very stressful and chaotic. And i had one of my worst meets of the season! Im just glad i got to have the experience, since basically nobody knew what they were doing. I was in region 7, jr 8!

Well done Whitney on getting 6th on beam, some may not know this but at Nationals 6th is super good because obviously you’re competing against everyone in the country so that really shows how strong she is on beam! And congrats Heather on getting first on vault that’s amazing! ❤️

Hi Whitney, I just wanted to say I am also a gymnast, you are a wonderful remodel for me me and my mom love watching your videos because you really inspire me to try new things! I love you so much I really hope you see this, btw you are a AMAZING gymnast I hope I will be as good as you one day! And do you have any suggestions to help me learn my kip? CONGRATULATIONS on 6th place! That's impressive- especially with the no sleep, traveling and waiting to compete.....Now I know why I didn't see you at uniform pick up....you weren't there yet. The boys were doing open workout at that time and I was watching them and looking for moms of girls I knew. Boys nationals is SO different from the girls nationals...The boys have to compete in their sessions and the top 50 out of all of the sessions make it to finals. My son actually got 1st AA in his session (it was the least competitive session) and made it to day 2 finals....He got a 6th place medal on vault with his 2 day combined total and ranked 16th AA (no medal) with his 2 day total- AND he went 12 for 12! No falls!! It was his best nationals EVER! I started watching ALL the gymnasts on the internet when he started gymnastics over 10 years ago just to get a feel for what we were getting into and your channel was one of the first I found. Good luck in your future!

One of our kids landed a vault and a girl on floor landed a double back in flight 1 just as the lights went out. Awesome beam routine as usual and loved the video. @@Jessicace well yeah nationals are huge, I see that and that's great her parents were willing to do that. I could just see my parents thinking that's a waste of money and time- a beam routine in one city is no different than a beam routine across the country.
@@kellypat125 you compete against more people and other states and winning nationals is much harder and big of a deal then winning regionals
I went to a really unorganised comp last weekend we literally warmed up waited an hour before we could compete and that’s for every single event.

When I was at nationals I forgot my grips in the hotel so I had to compete wit my friends and got a 9.7 which was my highest score of the season! My was wild to!
