As carbine and hand axe main i bought the rifle it is OK good against zapper but reload is very long and shove is too useful to replace it with the rifle and i get the same amount of kills if aligned it correctly, i will probably buy heavy Sabre but i will probably stick to hand axe
Rifle’s powerful penetration and damage is not enough of a bonus for that atrocious reload time. If I wanted a high damage gun that can one shot zappers and much more, I can just go with the Blunderbuss or Nockgun. I hope they update the rifle and reduce the reloading time, otherwise it’s a pretty useless weapon.
Tbh it’s really good for objective due to its insane accuracy. Watch mrflames trio run on Copenhagen. You can shoot the men on the British sloop all the way from the beginning of the map.
Rifle is op lol,you forgot to mention that it has 15 penetration and 195 damage which means it can one any zombie from any distance includong zappers if you go for the head(it still one shot by goinf for the body if you are close range) this is because rifle ignores zapper's bullet headshot resistance

Event tho rifle being that accurate i wouldn't not used the new features it has and that is the aim on the iron sights which largely going to be sometime miss because when u fire u will notice that the firing animation turn into the same one that u don't aim using the rifle which is the biggest downside as the effects can be seen when using on map that had more room for sniping like one in catacombs or san Sebastian
imagine if they added in the "Matchlock Revolver" Gosh everyone would be Using that against All odds, like immediately Sabre's would often be used, and the Matchlock Revolver would be used more then the Normal Musket (made in 1580 in Germany and had Eight round Chambers, it did not had Bullets only a ball and Gunpowder. and i think how much would it cost? proximately 2000 Francs.)
the side swing on the heavy saber deals 27 damage and runners have 30 hit points and will therefor always survive a sideswing from the heavy saber making it balanced the title says the 3 new veapons are overpowerd and need nerf while one is to expenciv for alot of people to ever get, one has the 2nd longest reload for max damage and one has a featur that can't kill the zombie class with the least amound of health

Here’s a good start, get a builder to build some walls like 2 then get him to keep repareing, get 2 officers and make 1 of them shoot the bombers while the other kills the zombies
Heavy Sabre and rifle are both really good since heavy Sabre is just the love child of the Sabre and hand axe and the rifle ignores the sapper damage resistance but honestly I would prefer Double barrel pistol over the horse artillery pistol since the horse artillery pistol is just DB pistol but slightly more accurate

@@alussk Nah it's amazing, you can spin around and hit a TON of zombies if you abuse the hitbox properly. You're also able to PERMANENTLY stunlock zombies
@@alussk Same reason the crucifix is busted, you prevent zombies from grabbing your teammates, runners from pinning you, and from accidently exploding bombers. The shove does 10 damage, and a bomber has 20 health. So you can freely shove around corners without worry of dying, and as a bonus you stun any zombies near the bomber too. In essence you take on a more supportive role as a front-line stunner, keeping pressure off key defensive points for both your sappers and fellow teammates. Plus with the heavy saber now in the game, you don't even lose the charge buff the bayonet has! I'd recommend giving it a try sometime, turning your gun into your main tool is super fun
@@alussk It's not for everyone. Personally I enjoy playing support characters, so having the option to take down bombs and quickly shove zombies to keep em off the team is fun for me
1:17 tell us you havent use the carbine without telling us you haven't used the carbine the shove is good for stunlocking hordes and saving teammates also shove can buy you breathing room to gain distance on a horde before you switch to melee 😂
Well I always seemed to like the musket better, as having extra range would be better for taking out special zombies. Taking a horde is kinda easy if you just don't corner yourself, sorry if this is a letdown as once again. This is all my opinion, and I use the musket more than literally every other infantry primary.

Rifle is really good since it ignores the bullet resistance for the sapper, meaning that it can do its max damage to a sapper

Well, the carbine is a variant of the pistol, so in that way, the HAP is the same.

The rifle almost has no use. All the maps are small negating its ranged advantage and beside targeting zappers you provide nothing.

It's a bunch of scatter shot (so tiny projectiles) versus our crew with round shots (big cannon balls that are used to sink ships).
They were only using cannister shot, since before the danes arrived they'd only be shooting zomboids
