Antonio, i can not believe you did not mentioned my beloved boatshoes;) Light colloured jeans, a stripped shirt with a navy blazer, italian socks and a pair off beaten boat shoes... Its got Saint Tropez written all over it ,) Great Video, cant wait for the next one.
Fascinating how much you stress the importance of the type of boots that’ll go with the jeans, instead of just the jeans themselves. Appreciate your videos.
I nailed it right at Christmas. I landed a handsome brown leather jacket to go with my jeans. It a huge step up for my personal style. I was in the store looking for a pea coat, but found this $200 jacket for 50% off. I couldn’t go without it.
Are Levi's & Wrangler still a good, mid quality jean brand? Obviously they won't be as high quality as Armani or Polo for example but are they better than Old Navy or The Gap?
I like your style, and never be afraid to dress well, just because others don't, most men like traditional suits and sport coats, but not accustomed to them, back in the day, 70s and 80s, we all wore them for special occasions, in high school sports on game days it was common to where a sport coat if you were on the team.
Greetings Mr. Centeno. Great video; I’m enjoying it very much, like I do all of your videos. I hear what you say about dress shirts being solid white, but I believe that could be cultural. I used to work for a multinational company based in Europe and we wore suits at the office, as a norm. On one occasion, I was sent to Montreal for training, along with colleagues from countries all over the world. I recall one of the Europeans saying: “well, we can tell who are the Americans, they’re the ones wearing white shirts”. The others were wearing all sorts of solid colors. (This was in the late 90s.) 😁
I tend to be wearing smaller opening boot cuts fit everything, my calfs are large and almost fill the entire lower leg. Straight cut end up being skinny jeans tight.
I'm almost at the end of the video and ties have not been mentioned (Or my narcolepsy struck again). Any advice on accessories for jeans as a base for your look?
great style tips, I don't normally wear blazer, but I have a short one that look nice paired with jeans, I think the identity of a jeans is the pockets, I think we shouldn't try to camouflage a jeans by totally covering the pockets, and also jeans do what jeans do creasing on the hip, creasing on the back of the knee, and thus making unmistakably jeans silhouette if you wear real jeans (not spandex shaped like jeans), so I think the blazer hemline should not cover it
Question: What shoes to wear with a kilt for the causal look? I often wear just sandals but its not the right look. The specific dress shoes for the kilt is way too formal and boots (like jungle boots or other military boots) are just clunky and not stylish. What do you recommend for the man in a kilt and t-shirt at a casual event?
Saw more shoes and shirts than I saw jeans This vid woulda been soo much better if the main focus was actually jeans, best places to get jeans and things to look out for with jeans
I wanr a boot that doesnt look massive. Looks smart but can be casual. Found a lot have this awful shine on them and look like it could get scratched easily. Also, some have bad laces.. look thin.. or they have a zip :(. I think with the laces coming closer down the front to toe box. As the tow box can make it look long in my size.. any help?
Now this makes me curious about the shoes I have, the Reebok Classic EX-O-FIT HI Shoes, they seem to be meant to be a Retro style Athleiser show however they seem versatile in my opinion but I would honestly like any history with them
The title made me think this was about jeans and denim. You probably talked about a min out of the 48 mins on jeans and fit. One thing you should’ve mentioned is you don’t cuff jeans unless they’re selvedge denim. Otherwise get them hemmed.
Awesome video! Could you do an etiquette video on when it's the appropriate time in a persons career to wear what to work. For example, would it be acceptable for a close to entry level professional to wear let's say Brioni? I work in the automotive industry and when I see a young oil changer or a level 1 technician hop off the tool truck with a $10k tool box instead of a $1k roll cart and some decent tools, I cringe. In my opinion the Tool Box is like the suit for Technicians. Why do they need that 5k-15k toolbox when they're just level 1. The shop starts to not take them seriously. I guess I'm asking about the internal politics of dress etiquette in different professions. These kinda internal politics have to be in every profession, yeah? Maybe a "Have style but don't be viewed as a try hard" video? Or "what should you wear at your level of success".
Somehow, it seems to me that you talk more about the shoes then what jeans to wear with them. Also, although I enjoy the video, it seems that you talk really fast and can be a bit distracting.
i don't know if people noticed this, but jeans have been getting tighter and tighter in the last half decade, especially men's jeans. as a woman, i think it's awful. because it's unhealthy at all for their legs and the pelvis. take a look at men's jeans from the early 90s and mid 2000s, huge difference!
My last two pairs of Levi's were such poor quality They barely lasted a couple of washes. The belt loops were so oversewn that there was no fabric left and the belt loops just pulled off. Won't ever buy Levi's again.
You seem to ignore most of my comments nowadays but I still appreciate the content Antonio. Perhaps there is something going on with RUclips but as I've said already I do value your responses so as always thanks for your time. My only statement on jeans is that Black pairs do tend to get dirty easily and quickly which is definitely a negative so therefore in the future I think I'll stick with Dark Wash and Blue. Overall I prefer Chinos most of the time and even slacks.
Great video, however, I think: Sneakers belong in a gym… Running shoes (Spikes) belong on a running track… Hiking boots belong on rough terrain - Up a big hill somewhere… Flip-Flops belong on a beach… I would say though that cowboy boots are the exception, you don’t need to ride a horse though 😊 A gentleman selects the correct footwear appropriate for the situation.
This needs to watched by all me. Personally, I despise loose and skinny. Straight fits too loose for me. Slim or Taper is the only way to go in my opinion.

I cannot fathom the amount of work you put into this. It was excellent, and I learned so much!! Thank you!
Glad this video helped! I appreciate you watching.
coincidence or not, seeing this next to a video about "some chess player" being kicked out of a tournament for wearing jeans has some hilarity to it
That's magnus for ya
I was hoping there would be comments about this, the timing of the video is funny as fuck ☠️😂😂
came here to remark on the timing. i hope rmrs has tips on which jeans get you kicked out of tourneys.

Love the blue shirt in this episode. Also, thank you so much for doing this RUclips channel. All the best, Mr.Dana Mac.
I needed this video...
Mainly because I couldn't understand how to style boots.
Thanks, man 🫂⭐
Glad this video helped. 😁
@RealMenRealStyle Absolutely 🙏

Sports jackets and jeans to upscale night clubs. It is a big style trend in Atlantic City. It really depends on where you live.
It very much does depend, in the Southwest it would have to a company-sponsored event for the sports coats to emerge.

Great job sir, we'll done!!
I buy a slim bootcut 1 size longer in the inseam. I get a stack with cowboy boots and a cuff with other style boots. It’s a winner, I’m telling you.

Great video. I just watched a video by Alpha M telling me that I should never wear shiny shoes or boots with jeans, Thoughts?
❤️🤍💙 all your video's mate👍.

Where does the Sperry Top Sider fit in? I wore them in the eighties every day with Edwin jeans.

Blue denim trousers ?
How can i style with ugg boots?
Any mention of cuffing your jeans?
Amazing!
Nice job.
Thanks!
Magnus Carlsen just saved this video to his playlist
@@lidaaletap2646 hahahaha, at least he can even in jeans read the dress code better than they did
I might get myself a pair of chelsea boots.

im slightly confused as to why an ai voice was used for some portions of this video but im gonna enjoy the video anyway
I am in the 7% with no jeans and no denim garments. Still not convinced I need jeans, but great information AC

The title led me to think this was going to be about jeans. Was going to subscribe but…
Straight cuts are perfect 👌🏻 but please don’t turn the bottoms up. It makes you look like a 12 year wearing your older brothers hand me downs.
Is that what your dad told you🤡?
I cuff my jeans. Gives it a vintage look.
I burn my jeans then lie about it on the internet.

Who are these 7% who don’t own 1 pair of jeans?

In my opinion, the baggy pants look that is coming back into fashion looks awful in any boot type. The baggy look eliminates an entire footwear type.
How to style dress shoes with jeans: don’t. Looks lame 100% of the time.
Canvas stinks
