Thanks for the video presentation well done except for the use of the hot shoe and accessories you probably didn't want to include that because of the flimsy material that this tripod is made of. Anybody reading this if you have a somewhat expensive camera / cell phone don't trust this flimsy device especially the cell phone holder is really cheap quality! Sure what do you expect for 15-20 dollars..
Hello! Thank you for the feedback. I would agree with you that the tripod is a bit flimsy and the accessories aren't the best quality. However, given the price and that it is intended to be a travel tripod (not so much for everyday professional use), I like it. I have been using it to record RUclips videos (with a Samsung Galaxy S21) ever since I got it. I would also agree with you that you probably shouldn't use any expensive camera on it. Since the tripod is light, the camera would definitely make it top heavy and pretty easy to knock over.
Thank you very much! The Iphone XS Max horizontal dimension is 3.05 inches and the full extension of the phone mount is 3.5 inches so yes! It should hold that phone and you could probably even hold it with a case on!

I have not. The removeable piece on the tripod screws into the cell phone holder. Then, you need to pull up on the tab on the cell phone holder, insert your phone, and let go of the tab. The holder should then squeeze your phone enough to keep your phone snug in there.

How do you put on the phone adapter?
So that removable tray that comes off the tripod has a screw on it, and that can screw into the bottom of the phone adapter.
