Edit: at one point I refer to the book Cactus Boots as the latter to its own self. I filmed this early in the morning and meant to say cactus boots is the latter instantiation of events manifesting from Rich Harsh's novel Manifold Destinies of Eddi Vegas.
Using the lens of Archeologies of the Future and Atinomies of Realism by Frederic Jameson and Less Than Nothin by Slavoj Zizek to address the failures of modern high concept genre fiction and the possible ascenscion through novels like those of Phil Freedenburg and Phillip K Dick.
