I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. I feel your pain mate, as a fellow retiree, I’d suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. Penn entertainment: head &shoulders forming, bullish (from july 2024) &bearish (from May 2024). At the top of falling parallel channel from November 2022. Currently trading at 18.07, bearish h&s measured move to 12, bullish h&s measured move to 24, with a gap fill at 22.50. Keep up the great work
You're right "Mediocre Data".Revisions down 35% for June and July's total non-farm payrolls! That means this report will be revised too. Unemployment keeps trending up fast!

Coinbase has a possible set up for a bounce, if yhe crypto market keeps pulling back some. Take a trendline starting in May '22 and drag straigh across to now, it rejects the price in August '22 then again in Aug '23. It then breaks through in Nov '23 and becomes resistance in Feb '24.
You can then do another trendline starting at the low in Dec '22 dragging it upwards touching May '23, June '23, and Nov '23 then on up and it converges with the first line which is about $30 below where current price is now. Very interesting! I feel like I am learning! Thanks VI!

XOM - Long Trade - Daily TF
Pattern - Wedge with a flat top and upsloping trendline on daily TF
Factor 1 - This is acting as support from 20 Sep '21
Factor 2 - Horizontal line acting support/resistance at 108.24 for over a year
Factor 3 - Line across from 10 Feb '23 touching the 17Jun '24 low
Factor 4 - Line across from 12 Apr '24 all the way down to touching the low of 24 Jul '24
Factor 5 - Short term double bottom at 108.
All these line converge in the area of 106 to 108 making it a strong area of support in my view.
Happy to see Gareth can review this and confirm if my thesis makes sense or not.....
