Dear Mike, It is Armin van Buuren who should quote you, not the other way around. You will most likely face some criticism on your page for that recent quote. And this is because you also hold and represent an iconic status to some of the finest trance audience. And there is a hell of a reason for that. No one could take away from Armin what he did for the music, but such great artists should never forget what they are and where they came from either. It is okay to contribute to the industry in general, and Its okay to make a living out of it. But please, do not forget your people. Do not forget us. We dont want to lose another hero for good, probably the greatest of them all. I always thought to myself "If I could get just 5 minutes to shake your hand and say thank you for everything you have done. If only you knew what kind of emotion your music does to us"... But than again, you probably do know exactly. Otherwise you could not write it. I think it is much more powerful to have such connection with a smaller but valuable audience, compared to what Armin did in the end. We truly appreciate your music, we are not just some kids who just want to party and forget about it when we get older and stop going on festivals. I am faithfully with you Mike for a couple of decades, and you have a well deserved place in it. And you will stay there for the rest of my life no matter what.
