Funeral service of the late Benjamin Mutisya Kaminda,

Benjamin Mu_sya Kaminda was born in October 1921 as the third child to his mother the late Kamene (Ng'e Kombo) and the Late Gregory Kaminda Ngao. He was born in Ngoma village, Kibauni Loca_on, Mwala Sub County, Machakos County.
Benjamin was brother to Phoebe Ndungwa, late Josephat Munyao, late Mbivii, late John Kinyae, late Moses Masaka, late Julius Katongu, late Peter Musili, late Titus Kakulu and late Jeremiah Mule. His cousins include:- Syindu katukuyu, Jeremiah Kasyula, Mwangangi, Yohanna, Mutuku, Christopher, Vata, Mu_ndi, Kathini, Nduki, Nzivulu, Nzila, Late Kamula Katukuyu, late
Musyoka (Munyambu), late King'ethu (Moffat), late Nzalukya, late Wayua.
EDUCATION
He went to school fully grown in the year 1939 at Miu Government African School. He later transferred to Mbooni Mission School in 1945 where he excelled in his exams and proceeded to Machakos Government School in 1946. Later he went to Kangundo Teachers College.
FAMILY LIFE
In 1955, Benjamin met and married the love of his life Mary Mutote with whom they were blessed with five children namely: - Charles Mutua, Zipporah Nduku, Stephen Mackenzie, Samuel Mutemi and the late Onesmus Kaminda. He was father in-law to Jane Karimi, Francis Kilyungi, Veronica Mbithe, Elizabeth Wandii and Agnes Mu_ndi. He had 21 grandchildren namely: - Dr Benjamin Mu_sya, Dr Angela Mugane, Kennedy Kiambi, Winfred Kennedy, Victor Muthenya, Prudence Mukoya, Dr Deborah Mutheu, Wambua, Gabriel Ngwisya, Kaswii, Pateli, Jacob, Singu, Mumbua, Mary, Esther, Alfred, Ndungwa, Elvis and many others. Benjamin had 16 great-grandchildren namely: - Naomi Karimi, Ethan Mutua , Benjamin Mbuvi and Zane Muli and
many others.
He was uncle to; Kimuyu, Mwikali, Peter, Major Munyao, Munyiva, Mutua, Late Kavuli, Isaac, John, Rev.Masaka, Andrew ,Kanyiva, Wanza, Kavindu, Ndunge, Ndila,Titus, Muthina, late Nzula, late Mbanyi, late Mbatha, John, Peninah, Mboya, Late Kilonzo, Late Ndunge, Ndinda, Patrick, Nzioka, Mutwii, Vincent, Alice, Ngao, Kitonga, Mumo, Wambua, Mutunge, Mwende, Mutwii, Nicholas (AKA Mukunga), Syombua, Mwongeli, Rachael, Mueni, Nzila, Mutua, Ndiku, CHRP Manesa, Mwelu, Mbinya, Kyalo, Mweu, Mutunga, Wambua, Kasimu, Collins, Mark, Kioko, Mbulu, Nzangi, Mu_nda, Richard and many others.
CHRISTIAN LIFE
Benjamin was a staunch member of the African Inland Church where he served as a congregant and a leader of the Local
Church Council in AIC Ndutu and later AIC Kathiani un_l his demise.
