A had a 4yr run with me beard. 3 to 4 and I cut it off because I made some mistakes. 1 mistake was over combing and the 2nd mistake was playing too much with the chin hairs and it just created a lot of dead ends and overcombing had me always pulling hair out of the beard... over a few years it just killed my beard. I'm about 9months into my 2nd regrow and I've stopped twisting and playing in my beard this time around and I've stopped over combing and it's looking real good. Also the type of comb you use is important as well. Combs or picks with pointed teeth I would avoid. Combs with thicker rounded tipped teeth are preferred for nappy beards. It's the small things.

Genetics does play a major role but a lot of times it’s also the reason for giving up too soon! There was a time when I thought I didn’t have the genetics for my beard to grow the way it did. @@BeardedExistence yessiiirrrr..u GOTTA stick it out! I've been in the hair industry, professionally, for well over 15ys. You'd be surprised how much some ppl hair grow faster than others. I can clean shave a few of my clients, and in 4mos their beard is on their chest! What you put IN your body also plays a big role in the overall health and growth as well. Keep em in the loop King!! 💫
