    I am one of the poor unfortunate souls that were affected by the philips recall. I got my device through the VA. After seeing your review, I know that this is the machine for me. Next steps are getting my prescription from my doctor and finding a vendor to purchase this device.

    This is my first CPAP machine and I love it. It is extremely quiet, only took a night or two before I didn't hear it at all.

      I had my for nearly 2 years and its been awesome.It took me a bit to get use to,but it was worth the effort to get comfy with....No more getting up to go to the toilet every 1 or 2 hour every night and also no more hypnagogic jerk.But I do get ear pop from time to time.

    Hello, I am an American living in Thailand and I just went through the sleep test and what they told me, and I didn't have to wait a week or more, as I was getting ready to go home the next day was very disturbing. What they said was the normal person stops breathing 3 to 5 times per hour, I stopped breathing 40 times every hour. The Doctor gave me two people to contact and one of them, F&P, were at the hospital within one hour. They showed me how to use it and I went home.
    I used it that night and got a text the next morning that I only stopped breathing 0.5 times per hour. I will be wearing this device for the rest of my life. Very happy and satisfied.

      I was told I stopped breathing 46 times per hour and now 1.5 times per hour using the F&P machine. I thought they were noisey things based on the one a friend used several years ago lol. I rather him snore than listen to the machine. Anyway these machines are dead quiet, you dead set wouldn’t know it was on.

    I currently have an ICON, and when I get a new machine later this year, I was going to get a ResMed. However, your sales pitch definitely won me over. I want a quieter and lighter machine. I also love the handle idea and the ease of cleaning the water chamber. Best of all is being able to track my numbers through an app. Great job F&P coming up with this winner of a machine!.

    • @keri380

      He is a good salesman, but he is just showing you features that have been on ResMed for years. The machine he is pitching is already obsolete if it truly has a 3g modem. AT&T is dropping all 3g products in 2022. I just bought a ResMed Airsense 10 Autoset because of the recall. It is far better than the cancerous Dreamstation. I have over 200 hours on it and it has turned me into a healthier person and I have Lab work to prove it. It has phone app. It is bluetooth and wireless and has a newer 4g modem. His pitch is slick but you better try a Autoset ResMed before purchasing a machine from a company that is always behind in technology. The menu on the ResMed is easy to use and it has a color screen with auto light dimming. I never hear my ResMed. It has changed my life after being on the DS1 for over 2.5 years. I have no connection with ResMed or any CPAP vendors. Go talk to some people on CPAP forums before you make this decision. You will find out I am being honest and straightforward with you. I wouldn't trade my ResMed for any cpap machine on the market today. God Bless

    I too was a Phillips foam victim. I bought the F&P after looking at many reviews on RUclips and elsewhere and have used mine for about two weeks so far. It really is a great machine, very quiet and the humidification part is far superior to the Phillips machine. I’ve had my best luck with it just in CPAP mode, set on 10 with no ramp, so the same setup as my old DreamStation1. I have turned the SensAwake setting off as I don’t feel that I benefit from it, so no comment on how good that works. Bottom line, great replacement for the Phillips, but I will try the DS2 if and when that replacement shows up.

      Hi, I have just bought this machine, watched videos to set up etc. I have an error code 436 come up all the time, manual says humidifier may be turned off but it’s not and have turned off and on,, co. Bought from no use, rang F&P not got back, you had any errors come up?

    • @insanity6105
      @insanity6105 2 года назад

      @@wendymorrison8403 Well, I have never received that error code, or any error code really. I assume that you've tried to change the humidifier settings (0-7) and powered it off and back on again. Those are the only solutions I can think of. Could just be a faulty board or sensor in the machine. I hope it's something simpler than that.
      The only issue I've had is the Bluetooth seems to disconnect every few days, which is a little aggravating, but it syncs right back up when I unplug and re-plug it in. Otherwise, it's been pretty much perfect for me. Best of luck with it!

      Press and hold the menu button for more than 5 seconds. Then use the arrow keys to scroll to the cellular modem section and select 'Off' then use the tick button to lock in this feature. Your device won't be able to send or receive data and remote monitoring and support will no longer be possible.

    • @CPAPDirect
      @CPAPDirect  2 года назад

      @@WayneCook306 I believe the app works via bluetooth on the SleepStyle. Try turning the modem off as described above and but keep bluetooth on your phone and your phone near your device in the morning to see if the app populates the data. BTW, you can always let the business you bought your device know that you don't want them to access your data. The only way they access it is by creating a profile for you and assigning your device serial number to that profile in the cloud based management software. They can unassign your device at any time and not be able to see your data.

    My original ResMed machine is kind of weird. Get abnormal high AHI values. Wake up feeling groggy. This did not happen with my dreamstation machine I replaced the Airsense 10 with. Bad thing it had me breathing chemicals. Waiting for this one!

    • @CPAPDirect
      @CPAPDirect  2 года назад

      Wow, that doesn't sound good. If you are getting high AHI levels, I would take the device back to your CPAP provider or specialist and get them to look at the data. I believe the device settings can be tweaked to overcome this issue

    CPAP Direct, question I wanted to purchase the F30I head gear, your sizes online says, small, medium, large

    Please explain

    • @CPAPDirect

      Hi Wayne, the bed frame is made of timber and the ResMed tube always makes a noise when it rubs against it whilst rolling over. Your bed may not have a timber surround however this factor alone makes it less disturbing for my wife.
