Nice!!! Just saw the SmallRig Cold Shoe Relocation Plate. I knew someone was going to find a better solution, but didnt know it was already there. thanks!!!
A comparison with the kitlens 16-50 vs the 18-135 would be great! Hope you could make a video about it. Been looking for videos that they only use the standard 16-50 but havent seen one yet!
Great purchase. Enjoy the new camera! There are quite a few work arounds for an external mic with the flip screen so it's not even an issue as some people have initial thought when they saw it. I really wish they would make the internal mics on these cameras better. Cell phone mics seem to sound so much better then camera mics. Not sure why they can't get them to sound just as good. If you don't want to sync audio with your lav mic, you can get a wireless lav mic that plugs into your mic port too. Much more options with having a mic port now! Have you been looking at any mics or you still going to use the lav through your cell and sync in post?
yep, I agree. The mic will not be an issue at all for me. I was looking for a shotgun mic, stereo recording will sound better compare to the mono sound I get from the lav I have . I think for now I will continue with what I have until I save a little bit more. I have considered a wireless lav mic for the near future as well . Thanks for the suggestions! What are you currently using with your sony a6500?
@@MayitoTek I recently bought the Saramonic UwMic 9 wireless lav mics with dual transmitters. I have 2 shotgun mics that I used to switch between but the problem when using that is when doing handheld stuff the camera always needs to be facing the person talking or be within a couple of feet to sound good. It's was really hard working with that for 2 people. The lav mics have been such a relief and I don't have to worry about where the camera and mic are facing anymore. The shotgun mics I have are the Rode Videomicro and the Takstar 598. They work fine for tripod stuff as I would just mount it right above our head on a stand. The lens I picked up around Christmas time was the Sigma 30mm 1.4 and it's insanely good and at incredible price.
Thanks for the info!! I was actually thinking about getting the takstar to test the flow of a shotgun mic before committing to a rode .I also was thinking about getting a lens with lower aperture so will check it out. I appreciate the advice!!!
@@MayitoTek The Takstar is cheap and can actually produce some decent sound. As for the Sigma lens, you'll be hard to find a bad review about it. It's so sharp, auto focus is great and having that low aperture is just awesome. It's not a stabilized lens though so just need to take that into consideration with the a6400 with what you will be doing with it. I also have the Sony 50mm 1.8 stabilized but I haven't found a need for it since getting the Sigma lens. It's an okay lens though. I will probably end up selling it.
Unboxing a6400 and 16-50 was unexpectedly unsatisfied. It felt like as if they’d just dumped the accessories into the box, and I did not expected a power brick. Does your battery came charged? Mine wasn’t.
I remember the battery had some power, not a lot. Try checking other unboxings with the 16mm to see if there is any diff.. unless you got an open box 🤔
I was shooting some video today with the kit lens and noticed right away that even if the lens has image stabilisation it won't be enough . Which one did you get?
@@RichsRantMMAofficialchannel ah yes, I used to have one similar for my Sony a5000, but sold it as the camera was too light for it and it was hard to balance every time. Thanks, def will keep this one in mind
Dear Sir I'm interested to buy a6400 camera for wildlife photography, please suggest me. My budget $700 to $900 (only body), I'm confused about d7200 n a6400... Which is best for wildlife photography?
yeah man !! That thing is a monster, I tried using the manual settings like I do on the Sony a5000 and the video was not good at all . Luckily in all auto mode it is doing an awesome job . Now I will have to go back and relearn the best settings in manual mode. Still pretty excited about the camera .
that came with the camera .. I already had the 16 mm lens from an older model and I def like the one that came with this camera for sure .. better video and picture quality
Thanks for watching , if you are interested check my latest review on a battery pack for this camera, which works as storage and SD Reader Link to the video : ruclips.net/video/zFu0niJGD-w/видео.html
nop, you charge the battery inside the camera. They want to make some extra money on the side. I actually bought a budget battery battery charger with two batteries for around $30 about 3 years ago and it has worked great
Depending on what kit lens you get. Goes for around $900 - $1300 www.bestbuy.com/site/searchpage.jsp?st=Sony+a6400&_dyncharset=UTF-8&_dynSessConf=&id=pcat17071&type=page&sc=Global&cp=1&nrp=&sp=&qp=&list=n&af=true&iht=y&usc=All+Categories&ks=960&keys=keys
glad you like it , trying to come up with content in the future. Let me know if there is something specific you would like to see about this camera . Thanks !!
My Sony a6400 came in March 1st. So far I love the camera. The usability is much different than the Panasonic Lumix systems that I am used too. I had to watch Jason Vong's video (ruclips.net/video/6-0N5DMwnzA/видео.html) to get accustomed to the menu settings. I think I am going to get great videos from the #sonya6400.
This video actually helped me. Im trying to decide whether I want to get this camera or not. Seeing someone else open it to see the actual product is helpful. That way I know what to expect.
I just my 6400 today too I'm really excited as it's my first official pro camera
nice!! yeah I am still getting the hang of it , all the shots I did today were on auto settings.
I bought mine today with the 18-135, and I’m absolutely in love.
I am still learning how to use that lens properly, but I am already getting some awesome Broll and Aroll 👍
do you have any kind of problem with the camera
Huge congrats on the new cam Mario! Can’t wait to see what you’ll create with it!
Thanks Tony!! Have waited so long to upgrade. 🙂👍
Sweet dude, congrats on the new camera and looking forward to seeing new videos with it!
Thanks Steve!! I told my gf this one I got it for the "Baby".. didnt specify which baby 😁👍
@@MayitoTek Haha.. smart man!
Give me some suggestions or let me know what you would like for me to cover in the next video for the Sony a6400. Thanks for watching !!
MayitoTek type in smallrig into google then on that website type in a6400. There are better options for the mic on there .. ✌🏼
