I'd prefer Gounod's Ave Maria for instrumental music. In my impression, Caccini's Ave Maria as composed by V. F. Vavilov seems better for vocal rendition. It is ironic that it is more appropriate for vocal music without lyrics, since Caccini's Ave Maria is beautiful and highly sophisticated but never perceived as a prayer in an imaginative way due to its superficial or extrinsic propensities. Actually, Vavilov-Caccini is probably the only person who composed well-known Ave Maria in a minor key. Gounod's Ave Maria is simple, but there is a prayer inherent in it.
Magnifique ❤
J'ai appartenu a une très grande chorale et pouvoir chanter cet ave Maria moment sublime
Merci pour votre remarque.
Nous aussi admirons cette pièce beaucoup.
