This song is a masterpiece. As kids, we didn’t understand what was happening to Woody but as adults, we can relate to him. This song is about dealing with feeling unwanted, isolated, and being left behind. This song makes you think back to a time in life when life was simpler and you didn’t have to worry about the everyday struggles of adulthood. We didn’t know how great we had it until it was all over. I’d give anything to go back and relive those simpler times. Thank you Randy Newman for this wonderful song!

Woody fears of feeling rejected that united 93 will be part of my family now in 74 hours time. Woody said a really hurtful thing saying “I’m glad those victims of flight 93 were taken down! They deserve it!” My anger got increasingly intense and I told Woody “YOU SHUT THE HELL UP! Those passengers did everything they could to save lives you stupidity of a toy!” Woody really thinks I’m having a 9/11 addiction but he’s wrong
