Spray some WD40 on the engine after a wash, it will hide all of that white oxidation as well as keeping the aluminum protected from the elements. I've been doing this for years with dirt bikes and even my motorcycles and quads. It also makes washing grime off the next wash much easier as well.
WD40 and a variety of small wire brushes on the Dremmel or similar rotary tool can produce great results, especially in tight areas, corners and fins etc.
I’m sure there will be lots of cool bikes there but this Kawasaki is already a winner to me!!!!! It’s a great looking scrambler!!!!! Love your videos!!!!! Keep them up!!!!!
Leave the patina on the tank. My suggestion 👍
One of my faves from your stable, I rode a kz-750 twin in the 80's for 1000's of miles with nothing but gas,oil and a battery swap. They are tremendous machines👍
Congrats Taylor, and good luck at the Hand Built show.
I had a Z900 the same colour back in the 70's
Man I do love that bike! Congrats on the entry!
I love the channel. I was wondering if you might ever do a 250 rebel chop? I know it's a small niche. But worth asking
colonel brassy and wizards metal polish along with quite a bit of elbow grease works wonders
Still love this bike 👍
Love the KZ! You ought to get more riding footage with it. Everyone builds scramblers but we hardly ever get to see them being ridden off road.
Good luck
Best of luck at the show!
Congrats for the upcoming show I hope you can share some video for us of it…
if u have a mac semi trailer dealer around mac cleaner works well on aluim. happy trails
Try dremmel with brass brushes for the engine. Maybe a small drill w nylon and brass brushes
Could you share the show with us, sir
congrats man, wish i could make it out there for the show!!
I really appreciate all your video! Thank you a lot for that. You teach me a lot of stuff for my build. Thanks for all of your mechanical tutorial. I wanna know where you find your Kawasaki part. I purchase an 82’ kz1000 last week and it’s harder to find part for this bike.
Can you do a live RUclips video from the show i think that would go down well Taylor.

👍👍👍
👍
S100 will freshen up the aluminum engine appearance.
Great content! Question, how did you achieve black rims? Powdercoat, or paint? Thanks for the videos
Short sweet to the point..
It’s a beautiful bike, do you know what the weight is? It looks to be less than 500 pounds.
Where do you ride around austin? I'm in the area and would love to figure out some good trails
could you do a video about starting a custom garage? and how to run such a buisness? im trying to start one myself here in NL
Hello guys if anyone can help me with bike issue. I’m desperate. I have a 93 Nighthawk750 running with pod filters. The bike runs really good but every time after long drive the carbs leaks gas through the pods. Short ride it doesn’t happen. Anyone please.
Good luck in the show. I'm disappointed they make you purchase a 3 day ticket at almost $50 a person after fees.
Nice bike..except for the mudguards, especially the front. It looks the wrong way around.
can youtube please stop unsubscribing me from everything.
kind of disagree with all the detailing you should be proud to show off a bike that gets ridden versus a show queen sans OCC
Aluminum bright is the answer for the engine.
Love how you've been doing other bikes outside of Hondas.
You're so deserving to take your bikes to these events. Hoping to make it there at some point. Keep up the killer work!
