Abana Hacıveli District
Abana is one of the oldest settlements in the Black Sea. Its oldest name in history is Aiginetes. In ancient sources, this place is small coastal town belongs to Paphlogoniya BC VII. The original place of establishment of Abana is Hacıveli, which is located 3 km east and is still today's district. Archaeological excavations have confirmed this.
