@@oliviabuit20 until you don't have protractor you can't determine that - thinking "90 degrees" is very unreliable for human eyes. There is easier way - the poll is not the highest point.

Fabulous work from a fabulous combination of horse and rider!
It is so annoying when spectators and staff fail to respect the need for stillness and extreme care during evaluation. Appalling - and it's not only in equestrian events; we see it in cycling, too. What is wrong with people?
But again - what a golden pair! Congratulations! 👏🥂

Никто не заметил, что лошадь захромала? Isabell Werth не отдала повод после выступления. Она сделала вид, что лошадь спешит, и она её держит. Но это ложь, потому что на свободном шагу хромота стала бы более очевидной

One of the most critical pillars of dressage is lightness. There is no true collection without it (for you out there who still thinks that bent neck and choppy gaits are IT). What I see in the video is a heavy, almost spasmatic canter, which culminated in the horse run away when he got a little chance.

Totally agree. It's painful THIS kind of riding for many people is "beautiful" which we see in the comments. Horse fighting with very heavy hand pulling on it's tongue, overfoaming in the mouth, balance constanctly on the forehead and front legs, which is visible specially in very poor piaffe, hyperflexion of the neck, irregular gates.... sad sad sad, nothing of it is even close to classical principles of dressage. Not even FEI rulebook.
