Thank you Stab for not being greedy and making us pay for this..I can not tell you how enjoyable this has been watching this at work.. seriously thank you guys
Thank you STAB for putting this out here! Just waiting on the S.I.T.D 😉 and damn I love Reef. Has his priorities straight - definitely resonated with him on the drinking. Obviously good to send and celebrate at the end of the trip though 🙌🏽
I’m not sure why Rasta was ever put to an elimination round. I got grief saying that last time here. But, his landings in the first rounds, even before he re-proved himself here, were still the best. I guarantee you he skates, cause he spots landings, levels out, bones his airs, then tapers to the transition. He’s had the best fundamentals, hands down, from the get go!, even if he wasn’t initially boosting as high as guys landing sketch. It’s kinda an insult when they say, “he had the day of days”, like it was luck. I never even heard of this guy, but knew day one he had the most solid fundamentals down just from a mechanical perspective.
Yeah those dudes getting paid bank to surf were talking Hella smack about the poor underdog from Florida. I see that guy surf at home. What's even more impressive is he surfs big in 2ft florida shit
@@joshuawaldrep3888 yeah, I had some child calling me a kook for noting that Rasta had the best form in his airs. I said he likely skated, because he approached it like a skater would. Surfers that don’t skate do ugly airs. They don’t understand the fundamentals of airs because on a surfboard there’s more room for error without serious consequences. In skating, landing is foundational EVERY maneuver. So landing is a skill that has a process that requires leveling out to your landing. But, you can’t do that until you level out your air, which a lot of surfers don’t do. For example, Herdy’s air was never leveled out, and he landed with his weight too far back. The air was high, but it wasn’t really properly executed from a mechanically sound standpoint. In surfing I suppose the water let’s him get away with that. In skating concrete doesn’t. Rasta’s consistency comes from proper fundamentals. My guess, skating.
Dakoda and Rob are by far the viewers favorites. The judging was soft for Dakoda, but he still made it through. Talk about consistency. These two are the future of surfing. Time for these two to get paid what they are due. $$$$
Thank you so much for letting us see this content for free there is 2 things that I believe should be free this and stab in the dark and that’s coming from someone who has watched a ton of stab premium
Josh Kerr just killing it at periscope, such a style...and definitely still able to compete at highest level if he would like to, amazing bag of tricks and "feeling" of the wave.
This is an awesome series! One thing I can't figure out is why an event that probably cost $500k at minimum to hold, including travel and related costs, would only put up $55,000 for prize money. I feel like it would be more nail-biting if there was more money on the line.
Fellas, sort out the judging. It's like watching sheep. Nate broadcasts his scores and everyone follows suit. Holly Wawn literally waited and pretty much asked mick and big dick what to put down in Rasta/crane/herdy/zafs heat. Surely this collective you've got for the panel would have different scoring opinions. But nope. All the same or within 1 point of each other.
His air was better than Koala's clearly so he did. But yeah it was pretty weak which he admitted himself. Still better than everyone else because the rest struggled

Bet the final episode is behind the paywall though. Hence the monster air cliff hanger
